it didn't ruin gaming when it was SNES vs. Genesis...
the only thing ruining gaming this time around is microsoft who has singled handledly made a generation of gamers come to accept and even welcome half-assed hardware, last generation technology, paid for timed-exclusivity, nickel and diming for DLC, overpriced accessories, paid online, etc...
that's what ruined gaming. exclusives have nothing to do with it.
forza looks great. can't deny that. but gran turismo poops all over it. i'm anti-forza because it's developers are a bunch of d-bags.
kratos needs to pay the la times a visit.
wow, some poor chap has problems with his ps3 and kotaku makes it sound like it's a widespread issue. typical them. the only thing worse about their anti-ps3ness is that long winded d-bag tim rogers.
"First, as a platform holder our responsibility is to create a large installed base for developers to create content, to provide them with the tools and the insight to help them create great games, and to have in place a profit model that motivates them to create the content and reap the rewards. We've done that; global installed base is over 67 million for Wii and there are 120 million in the DS family. So there's a large installed base, an easy platform to develop for and a strong set ...
the only thing this is stimulating is activisions profits.
because Undisputed 2009 = Undisputed 2010... you never know, they could have up the ante, added more features and so forth. you say only 6GB as if that's supposed to mean something. maybe publishers are finally realizing they don't have to cater to the lowest common denominator anymore and utilize the extra space they have on the other console.
i've gotten to the point to where if it's not by nintendo, i don't even bother. sad, but true. looking forward to mario galaxy 2 and the new zelda!!
meh, i wouldn't go as far as to say it will move consoles unless there's some kind of killer app associated with it like wii sports is to the wii.
Microsoft will just have "exclusive DLC" down the line. I'm willing to bet it has something to with the disc space limitations.
amazon here i come!
i laughed. out loud. my boss gave me a weird look.
can't wait to kill me some gods...
hmmm... what platform are the screenshots from again? they're more than likely
PC vs. PS3? GTFO out... seriously... this is stupid. everyone knows a sup'ed up PC will destroy any console variant. why do people still insist on doing this? it'd be better to do a Crysis 2 PS3 vs. 360 comparison.
wtf does gliche mean? you fail at trolling.
it's a g-d piece of plastic for god's sakes... collector's item or not, you could buy a replacement arcade bundle for that.
this isn't going to be or even meant to be the second coming of the PS3 like natal is herald as the 2nd coming of the 360... people are acting like sony is sacrificing the hardcore like nintendo did with the wii for the casual market. as of right now, in my opinion, nintendo has the casual market, microsoft has the online market, and sony has the hi-def market...
at least sony is TRYING to attack from all fronts rather than focus on just one single aspect. i'd rather them stick...
but the ashes make him pale...
so does the wii...
$39.99 for the wii remote
$19.99 for the motion plus
$19.99 for the nunchuk
a crapload of batteries OR
$29.99 for the quad charger with batteries
thats what... 80 bucks per player or 320 bucks for 4...
the ps move bundle would include the move controller, the sub controller, and the ps-eye for $99.99
the ps eye goes for $39.99
assuming you have an eye already (like myself) you can deduc...
where's the camo?! watermelon green doesn't reflect MGS very well. honestly, i'd buy one if it had octocamo, but the biggest problem with that is i'll probably put it down and lose it.
