actually had microsoft been smart and not rushed the xbox out, they could have included an HD-DVD drive in the 360 and that would have seriously made for interesting things in the said format war.

it "looks" slimmer, but if you look at the proportions of the disc tray, it's not that much more so. what they should have done was use slot loader or at least portable disc drive dimensions. it looks like there's a huge exhaust vent for the heatsink fan so this could perhaps remedy the red rings. took them 5 years though. 5 years too long and 5 years too late.

i wasn't going to buy into it before and i definitely won't buy into it now. i'm a little over motion control as it is but as long as sony comes through with some "real" games instead of casual hacks, then perhaps i'll give that whirl. i felt uncomfortable just watching the clips so far, god knows how i will feel if i tried the real thing. at this point, only god will.
microsoft has a history of giving projects names relating to geographic landmarks or cities. natal is actually in reference to a city in brazil. and yes, natal means christmas in portuguese.
either way, yes, very stupid name indeed. not as bad as wii though.
