Kinect follows me when I'm in a chair. I can navigate and do hand motions it likes while sitting on my computer.

I'm constantly concerned about the Lore of KHs. they often mess it up, and if you look at the grand story line it doesnt fit together anymore. I wish they would sit down and define their lore.
the other thing that concerns me is at least from the e3 video it looked like this game took place durring Kh1, or maybe is a retelling of kh1 that has been revamped.

that doesnt make any sense. hz just means how many times a second the screen is refreshed, not how long it takes the signal to get there. the delay between when the image happens and is sent to the tv till when that fram is actually shown on the screen is the response time.
you can send 12937123178263 frames a second and have a refresh rate of 1minute if between when those frames were sent and when they are shown was that high.
where the opposite is also true...
response time isnt connected to HZ that i know of. my 60hz monitor has the fastest reponse time that i know in the monitor industry with a 2ms grey to grey.
i could be wrong, and if so a link would be nice so i can educate myself.

of course we dont see in frame per second, but there is a threshold for where our eyes physically cant tell the difference. in the real universe time doesnt even exit. its a made up tool.
so like time which is just a relative measurements we can sit people in front of monitors for days doing a study showing them different footages of videos at different FPS, and through observations find the threshold where it no longer matters how many FPS you have ...
the human eye cant see beyond about 30fps
you can notice that animation looks a bit smoother, but you cant tell the difference really.
movies infact are only at 24fps.
stable framerate >>>>>>> high fps.
look man, before you start calling people out, check your own facts. if any thing you are seeing the difference between a well made tv and one not so much.
the game is the same on all monitors. the extra Hz isnt helping the game. or improving the game, heck does the ps3 even support that high of a refresh rate?

face it the "core" are about 10-15% of the market.

I dont get my thrills out of high scores. I get my thrills out of playing the game that has some challenge to it, to where I dont feel like "well... cant die so doesnt matter if i try." put down the controller and come back 10mins later durring a boss right.

yes you could play without a controller, the games have to be programed for that. MS clearly wanted a "stand up and play" strategy. why? thats where Kinect shows off its abilities. it gets the casuals interested. casuals eat that stuff up.
tho keep in mind only having your hands has very limitied options for control and input.
