1. I cant tell a Swedish game from other nations games.
2. there probably arnt enough swedish games for people to see a trend in game design.
everyone points to Japanese vs Western design for instance. so could one argue that people are not targeting just japan? there's that other group the "western" group.
other than expensive outdated graphics cards, and then horrible support?
i wish gaming on a mac was a real option.
late news.... is weeks late?
the PC controls are shit too.... this game is no point n click game.... we have to use our mouse like its an analog stick.
@gcolley
and every 6 years people buy a new console.... once again taking the price differences to roughly equal again.
i maybe spend 100 dollars a year on maintaining my pc.
i save 10 dollars on every pc game i get vs a console game....
so its the same price range if you ask me.
@white
just because its outdated doesnt mean its unusable or anything of that nature. my ipad1 didnt stop working....
my 2 year old PC rig still plays most games on very high. only the witcher 2 needed to be turned down.
so what does outdated do for any argument here? the 360s outdated, so is the ps3.... the difference is support. just like how you can turn games down to low and still have a game support older/weaker computers
its not your fault you believe such stereotypes.
PC gaming is not drastically more expensive than consoles. its higher yes, but not thousands of dollars.
3-4 times the cost of a console?
maybe if a console is 200 dollars. a gaming rig to get you playing just about every game on at least medium if not high will be near the 700 dollar mark. and that rig will last you a few years and does not require this "constant upgrading"
the article is obviously a console guy writing about a subject he knows little about.
I agree consoles are the easiest solution, but dollar for dollar my PC has al...
I agree with you lightofDarkness.
theres a reason I start and stop Dragon Age 1, Im near the end. i hit it hard for a day then I need a break. I spend so much time just looking through bags and loot and trying to figure out where my characters are at (strength wise) that it wears me out.
I'm a avid player of 3.5DnD and honestly character creation drains me quickly, as well as things like buying new loot making sure it doesnt start hurting my arcane castin...
One thing I love about Bioware games is I actually assume the role of my character in my ROLEPLAYING GAME. I think DND has convinced people stats are necessary for that. I agree with Bioware,
but I also like my stats so that I can build a character I want and dont just have a nice social roleplaying game.
wow... they wont let me put in my email address.
i have a - in my email address. way to go sony.
patcher's job isnt to be right. his job is to make smart business decisions.
his ever so hated on wii HD idea. happening? no, but he is simply arguing it would be a good move.
@Gaden_malak
its not like I like them better. Hip Hop Gamer happened to hit a particular nerve with me when one day I was catching up on the news ran across some of his BS only to find out how much he made up and it was actually an article about what he would like to see, not the "CONFIRMED" that he put in the title.
@ superlupe
its not that we dont think he cant actually have news. its how he makes things up often for hits. he has flame bait articles to get hits.
he over all has showed little professionalism.
that is why I never go to his site anymore.
Perhaps its cause you are on things like XBL? I as a guy get bothered on XBL.
get on PC its a much more mature group. my TF2 server never bothers girls. we treat them like every other gamer. maybe hit on them, but thats normal.
too bad he makes stuff up for hits.
he is passionate, but journalist is a stretch. hes like the national enquirer.
The cat looks face for sure.... but i wonder if kinect could follow a cat... in theory it could, easily at that.
I would want to hold one for sure. it could fit your hands really well possiblly. the original xbox controller was huge, but I thought it felt pretty good in my hand. and lets not forget how ugly the n64 controller was, i liked how it fit in my hand tho.
egidem, i think you forget how apple survives. its not that they dont support blu-ray (i'm pretty damn sure they have drives in em) its they want you to buy the HD versions off iTunes.
apple might not always lead in hardware, but they lead in software for sure.
I think it does matter where it comes from to a degree. some people might not like Japanese food, but love french food. we all have tastes, and while every dish in France might not appeal to someones tastes, its a style people can identify with.
Japense games tend to have a certain characteristic to them, which isnt bad or good, its up to the individual persons tastes.
