I don't see planetside 2, warframe, war thunder, blacklight retribution, diablo 3 and ya also no indie games listed. This list seems very incomplete.
Plus Sony has other console exclusive launch games that were not in the conference. Like planetside 2, warframe, blacklight retribution, dc universe,war thunder, and diablo 3. Honestly titanfall looked good, but no other xbox1 exclusive looked interesting to me. I thought the ps4 dominated xbox1 in every way, well except TV. And it's more powerful and cheaper.
Ya I think it looks really great so far. Way more open, they talked about having multiple missions to choose from, and how u do them and in what order will effect other missions. I'm also excited to see some multiplayer. I love killzone mp.
The ps4 stuff was awesome, the price, policies, and games. Ps plus for mp is lame, but having no console drm, and being able to rent or purchase used games makes it ok. It means its the same as it is now. Lets say for example ea released the new sim city on ps4. That game requires an Internet connection (drm) to play, but just that game. The ps4 does not require one. So if u don't have Internet and u want to play infamous single player, no problem. So in other words it will be a game by game system. Similar to now. For example u can play the last of us on ps3 without an Internet connection. But u can't play dc universe, because its an mmo and require...
MS had a pretty good conference really. Some really good games. But there policies are bs, and $499 seems overpriced. Plus I have more faith in Sony delivering quality exclusives year after year.
Your right it is ms that wants it. But I'm sure the publishers loved the idea of charging more money to gamers.
It took some balls to say no to used games fees and drm. I really thought the pressure from publishers would be too much. I'm so glad they didn't. I know Sony is in this business to make money, but it was so refreshing to see one of the companies actually listen to consumers and even have a little fun with it. It sucks but makes since. In order for Sony to make gamers happy with no licensing fee for used games, launching at $399 a $100 less that xbox one, and running there psn servers. For $5 bucks a month that's well worth it, not to mention all the discounts and free games that ps plus offers.
Them partnering up with sega and releasing the Dreamcast 2.
I'm going to back it even tho I'm not a PC gamer. Just in hope that there will be a ps4 version. Even if I still have to pay for the ps4 version, that's how bad I want old socom style gameplay on my console. This will be my first kickstarter game I've backed, best of luck to these guys.
As for deep down. Deep down might end up being dragons dogma 2. The rumor was that capcom was going to release dead rising 3 exclusive to xbox 1. And release dragons dogma 2 exclusive to ps4 and that deep down was just its place holder name. But it's all just a rumor we will prob find out at e3.
I'd love to see morrowind and knights remade. I'd also just love a new knights game.
Look I agree the fanboy wars are dumb. But I've done it in the past. But it was more for fun then actually being angry about it. But with the xbox one I'm actually pissed. I'm pissed about the drm, I'm pissed that if I go buy a game I can only do what ms says I can with it. But make no mistake ill be just as pissed if Sony does the same thing.

The souls franchise is my favorite of this entire gen. If they put exclusive content on F ing xbox ill piss my pants. They better not. I imported two copies of demons the Asian version for me and a friend and bought the u.s version when it finally came out. And bought dark day 1. If they put any exclusive content on the xbox they won't see a dime from me. I won't purchase any version and will do everything I can to discourage my friends from buying it. They better freaking not.
