Not sure I've ever been so excited about a Final Fantasy game.

Same story. Got my GED at 17 after having problems in school, had my Associates at 20, make 60k a year and have never once been asked if I had a high school diploma or a college degree for the jobs I've done.

With some mods off Steam Workshop you can add a pet that a succubus looking thing with no wings. With breasts of course.

I think the intro to Dark Souls is my favorite this gen.

I have a soft spot for epic dark fantasy with lore that makes no sense and features enormously powerful entities. So that might be why. xD

Read the comments on Kotaku. It will sew things up for you.

Well, the problem is really how exact the "leaked" specs of the PS4 were to the actual system.

If we use this as a precedent, stating that past leaks have been close enough to reality to be taken seriously, then the rumors and "leaks" surrounding MS new console are dire.

Required installations (possibly nixing used games), required Kinect (makes total sense seeing as how MS has been Kinect crazy for years), always on-always connected or it...

I'm gonna be honest with ya'll, and this is kinda out of line to say.

Seeing that "Season Pass" for DLC thing become more and more prolific is sad. The consumer has NO OVERSIGHT into the purchase they are making. It is literally worse than buying into a Kickstarter in a way, because the big companies like Ubisoft and Gearbox DONT TELL YOU what the DLC you'll get is.

SO for this situation, you have people who made a purchase based on th...

The thumbnail is the most skin I think in the whole picture set. Most of them are real nerds with an obviously hand made costume they are wearing for fun and to show support for nerds everywhere. You've got Cloud Strife standing with Poison Ivy, and it's mainly a face shot, not focusing on Poison Ivy's boobs or ass, for example.

This is not a sexualized "cosplay" gallery by any means.

SR has always had to find ways to distinguish itself from GTA, and this is just following that original trend.

Perhaps the differences were both more subtle and also more refined in the earlier games, but I feel this has always been part of the SR series "end game", based on the rule of "adapt or die" ...

I don't know if it will be better or worse, but I do know I loved the holy hell out of SR3.

None of Skyrim, COD, or Fallout was made in UE3.

COD uses similar code, but as far as Fallout and Skyrim, they are made using Gamebryo, as was Oblivion and New Vegas.

Bethesda doesn't even have a license to use UE 3 or 4 at all, in my understanding.

@VirtualReality

So you are perhaps suggesting that Sony, a world leading producer of high end electronics and entertainment, cater to the needs of third world countries, which likely makes up less than 1 to 2% of their yearly earnings. Third world countries where, in many cases, PSTWO is still the most used console?

Japan, Sony's main market, is a world leader in connection speeds, and boasts a huge amount of the income Sony winds up collecting. Caterin...

To throw N4G for a complete loop, as a primary PS player and long time fan, I feel that Sony set the bar so high that I'm extremely excited to see if Microsoft can follow suit and blow our minds again.

Healthy competition benefits us all as gamers, and I'm so happy to see innovation again at the forefront of design.

@blueto

I don't think it's a measure of skill, more so just that my thoughts translate into actions much quicker, which gives me the feeling that the game is responding back to me, and not the speed at which Developer X decided the gun is supposed to swing up and left while on Look Sensitivity Setting 7 out of 10.

Also, the only answer I have to how other genre's which don't focus on shooting (since tps vs. fps is essentially a stylistic choic...

You can say there is a personal preference issue all you want.

Tell a game developer who wants a real competitive FPS environment to let the people playing with mouse and keyboard play against the people with controls, and tell them that the winners will receive large amounts of money.

They will look you in the eye, and with no dishonesty in their statement, tell you "That is not fair to the people with a controller."

Someone, refut...

Wow, really highlighting the sheer inability of CBS or whoever to understand their audience.

I honestly had no idea, and was extremely sad when he departed G4TV, feeling that the show "feedback" was nothing without him. It boggles my mind to think he was fired, but thank whoever you pray to that he found a great new home, and is helping Rev3 really get some new viewers.
