With a little research and care you can spend double less of that number and build a great PC that will play Witcher 3 at almost full settings.
Honestly, you don't need those type of specs that the article suggests unless money isn't the issue at that point sky's the limit. ;)
Nitpicking for click bait article is pathetic.
Enjoy the game..
Another click article... so sad..
The first review doesn't have the patch for release date which the developer has ready and they promised it will iron out the frame rate issues on the PS4.
Read the Gamespot review by Kevin Van Ord, he has the day one patch installed and the game works great.

Maybe Geoff is gathering in person the story surrounding Mr. Kojima's departure from Konami.
Geoff is very well know in the professional field of video games journalism and he would be a good source for Kojima to shred some light into what had happened and maybe even hear some news on possible future games (if any) that we might see from him or is he going independent.
Absolutely agree, well said.
I have to admit, the headline is very well thought out, it implies on the first read that somehow The Xbox One version of the Witcher 3 is running at 720p resolution which is a excellent way to fool people and get hits on your website, horrible, horrible practice and I believe the author should be held responsible.
The game itself is native 900p and this so called article had only recorded the 720p on his machine. Misleading and downright pathetic headline only to gather more...
I'm currently playing though the original witcher, my PC can handle it however, Its not playable for the second game I will have to borrow someone's xbox to play it.
Got the full game and expansions paid off for on my PS4 already.
It looks like a complete pc version with extra visual flavour, all the content and patches at well.
Risen 3 was a mid tier game, its not bad but it's not great either.
Should be worth playing once it drops in price.
You really need a evidence? Do you believe publisher will admit it to you they are ripping you off?
Use your common sense and research. Don't just blindly believe everything. :)
Can we? How do we know the content they are showing down our throats is actually not a part of a full game?
Because the publisher told us so?
I'm sorry I don't believe that for a minute. I won't support this type of company policy. I'm might be overestimating however this amount of DLC and Seasons Passes leave me little fate and honesty.
I fully agree with you on don't like it don't buy it. :)
While the cost of developing a game is higher there is no need to almost double the requirements, how about a movie business which is very much comparable to the video game industry?
Avatar costed over 1 Billion dollars to make and guess what it made money back and turned profit at 12-15$ movie ticket which we had for decades now at small rise.
Nake a good game, it will sell. It will make profit, how about we stop making same old game for the last 10 years an...
The biggest issue I have with all this first day optional DLC is how do we really know exactly that this content wasn't a part of the original game? Because the publishers told us so?
It's a tricky business and full of uncertain practice. The only reason I see is that now we have to pay for our games more and more on top of the game which we can't even be certain is actually complete release.
Season Passes, First day DLC and barely few weeks aft...
Thats fantastic, you are willing to spend any amount of money this corporations decide to target since you are well off in your pockets while fully ignoring the fact that this so called dlc is nothing more then money hungry and greedy way to rip off any respectable gamer to its fullest.
You are a terrific example why we continue being fed this garbage and it will continue.
Think about that next time you are spending 100$+ on an incomplete video game.
Unbelievable, im not paying that price. Ridiculous..
The art direction and atmosphere Bloodborne used for its purpose looks very nice in clear and sharp 1080p.
It wasn't meant to push visuals even though the game looks very good on its own.
Same, not supporting season pass garbage or day one dlc
This is a Japanese game with Japanese culture behind it, majority of the Western world doesn't understand it.
It has nothing to do with right or wrong. I just how it has been n their world for many, many years.
Ignorance on the other hand, is hard to cure.
Other then the original Modern Warfare campaign which I still believe was the best one to date, I actually had a great time with black ops campaign.
Sad Konami, you are a former shadow of your best days.
Kojima put his soul into MGS5 and it will get my support just like it did for all of his games however, this is pretty much the last Konami purchase you will receive from myself personally.
Horrible decision.
I would guess Witcher 3 might require some heavy PC parts to run it great at almost full settings though that's why I am suggesting that price.
Also, remember that 1200 PC will last for good 3-4 years before video card upgrade needed and you do get to enjoy games on higher resolution, visuals fidelity and better frame rates to name a new perks.
Personally my PC can only handle Witcher 2 on medium settings and I love it however I can't even dream of e...
