I’m sure Xbox one is a capable games console and it certainly has some fun games, however it’s also stuck with Kinect which is one of the worst peripherals I have ever used and it wants to charge me an extra £100 for the privilege of waving my arms around like a bell-end trying to get my console to acknowledge my existence. IMHO though, it would probably hindered on the XBone because of the ESram (EDram) issue. They should've put more of that ram in there, or just left it as one pool of ddr3.

......... With it being a game console, better is subjective.
If you want to play God of War, then it isn't even better than the ps3. If you want to play Mario, then you will think it sucks compared to the Wii-U. It has some great features, beyond gaming, that I am interested in but to say it's "better" or "Not better" is subjective.

So it seems that the title is misleading. Surround audio is there, just not in the HDMI passthrough as of yet. That will come later with a patch.
