They do stand a chance..... on price. You can get a comparatively great screen for a better price, buy a vita tv, and still come out cheaper.
Edit: but I do like your idea of building it into the television. If they are gonna do that, they might as well build a ps4 into them. Its so small already. They could spread the pcb out like the ipad air, which is nothing but an iPhone 5 spread over a larger area.

I don't think it's going to look any different (or better), I just think Rockstar is going to do a great job with what they have to work with.

sidenote: I'm thinking that the ps4 version will be top knotch. I don't think the models will look as good as Ryse/Killzone, but I'm betting it's gonna perform great.
Great launches by both Sony and Microsoft. Someone has to have a better launch of course and it was Sony.

They did care about Indie devs. Main reason every xbox one is a dev unit. They just had to constantly answer questions about DRM and other things. Even now, when good news pops up every now and then we get the same comments over taking the comment section.
I applaud Sony's PR approach to Indies and capitalizing on every Microsoft mistake, but lets not act as if Indies are not and were not on Microsoft's mind.
I wonder if they will deliver it with one of those drones if I pay extra??????

Who does this? Im playing 1200p with my overclocked 7950. Batman Origins at around 75fps. Maxed out. I don't think I need any more POWAH as of right now.

Let them learn. It will change in the near future. They will have to make changes to compete. People expect way too much too early now a days. PS+ was in it's infancy at one point also.

That is the main reason Microsoft tried to use the disc based approach. You can go digital without the bandwidth caps, loss of connection while downloading, etc.
Buy the game retail but enjoy the diskless benefits. Of course that came with a checkin once every 24 hours because lets face it, people would take advantage of it the same way they did with sony
