@Cueil... These are ALL official manufacturer numbers so if you're going to say that for Sony then it goes the same for Nintendo/Microsoft. Since they're all on even terms, it's better to go by than what some low budget website has to say.
@Raztad - Having 2 million sitting on shelves is not the biggest unbelievable thing to look at though... Somehow Nintendo has done the impossible and found out how to sell more than they shipped!! ROFL
Guns N' Roses didn't have a hard time coming back... Currently they're touring and having one of the largest world tours around. They are selling out stadiums all over the world, so how is that a hard time?
I find it funny how this game gets tons of positive reviews but in the few that are negative it has everyone saying how it was disappointing. Weird.
Great marketing, imo. The majority of car enthusiasts are adult males, they will be the biggest target. Perhaps even getting Sony some market that were never into games.
Yeah because 2 weeks is SUCH a big deal... If you're going to die over a delay then you have mental problems.
Yeah, I don't see how reaching down for the left stick is so awkward when you have to do the same for the right stick. Also my fingers never slip off the triggers.... :\
Not surprising, expect Black Ops to get perfect scores everywhere despite having a poor single player and multiplayer that feels just like every other COD with tacked on features.
@Shubhankar - Well maybe Mario and Zelda weren't copy/paste games but Gears and Halo.... Gears was a rip-off of Killswitch. Halo did nothing extraordinary either and didn't live up to PC shooters.
Yes, it's at 3.5 million. You said it!
Well shipped numbers are the best data we have to go by and the fact that he said they may need to ramp up production indicates that sold is not far behind shipped. Use common sense.
Where are we getting these US numbers from? Sounds like BS to me and not credible. Patcher sounds like VGChartz... Hmmm, maybe that's where they get their info from?
So .2 points makes it THAT much better? lol I haven't played it yet but I'm probably going to give it a shot.
Sounds like a description of MW2, but that game got a free pass. Hmmm...
You are wrong and before you start posting blog-like websites, get some real facts. They still have Move at 600K+ worldwide when we know for darn well that it's 1.5 million in Europe alone. Get me some manufacturer's numbers then I'll give your post the bod.
MW2's campaign sucked so that's not saying much.
@Blaze, definitely in America but Europe and Japan would almost certainly have GT5 at #1. Anyway, I only expect it to be delayed till the end of November or mid December at the latest.
I hope you are joking!
Yeah 2 Forza games on 360 that can't even compare to all the stuff in GT5 combined. They can pump out as many games as they want, that doesn't make them better.
Wow... If you want to go there people have been playing games like this for over a decade!! Time Crisis has been out for a long long time and has used light guns since the beginning.
