Why do you hate the Wii? Can you just tell us instead of trolling the Wii section? Put it in a blog or something, but please stop TROLLING. The Wii is not crap, it just doesn't have what you like. Get OVER it.
What's even more weird is that the Wii can play standard DVD's without a hardware upgrade, but Nintendo refuses to send an update out. Maybe they will add it in when they change the music format? It would be a nice surprise. By the way, what was the "pleasant surprise" that Reggie said Wii owners would learn about soon?
What fuels you to hate on the Wii so much? If you are going to hate on the Wii this badly, you might as well explain yourself.
Anyway, Fragile looks amazing. Looks like Mario Galaxy could have some competition seeing as these are early scans.
If the "Vii" makes it into Russia... (Russians seem to like the letter 'v') lets just say there will be a lot of unhappy and confused customers come Christmas.
Child: "Mommy, I want a Wii!"
Mother: "Vhat? You vant a Vii! OK!"
*Christmas Morning*
Child: "*&@#"
Even Wii games need a graphical standard that is better than this. This is pitiful. The sooner Midway realizes that they are shooting themselves in the foot the sooner we get a few more quality games.
Yes, the Wii EMPHASIZES gameplay over graphics but that is no excuse to do this sort of sloppy job.
I think they should port this to DS because the graphics would be about right...
Thank you for being one of the few people to be optimistic about the Wii and DS even in their faults.
Anyway, I think the Wii and DS will stay strong because Nintendo knows how to manage themselves. After all, they have been around for a long time.
SMG takes the cake. Think about it -platformer- what does this genre mean? Well Mario 64 defined it. It is all about jumping from platform to platform and exploring levels that are creatively designed to test your ability to jump. Granted, you can do more than jump up in the air, (kick, slide, wall jump, ground pound, etc.) but if you take it too far you end up with Mario Sunshine- a platforming tool (FLOOD) taken too far. FLOOD was a big reason that SMS was less popular because it was a sort...
And another one goes,
And another one bites the dust...
Lair, then HS, now this.
Do they really hate Sony that much? Come on. I'm a Wii60 fan most of the time and I know Ratchet and Clank is better than a 6.
Maybe the magazine editors are angry that game companies don't release their top titles in Europe first...
At least it is a hardcore game, not a "casual" game (unless you define all Wii games as casual). It may not be the AAA title that everyone is looking for, but it sure beats another game that tries to be Wii Sports or the "super mini game collection".
like you are the arrogant hater here, goodganja...
I think EA is the first 3rd party dev to really put some quality time into the Wii. A lot of their games have been so-so on the Wii, but this looks great. Also, whoever was playing in these videos sucks.
Let your bubbles speak for themselves. You might as well start another profile and delete this one if you think that spewing hatred against the Wii is going to help you.
It's like saying: Let's compare the sales of games in Belguim so we can publish an article that makes one console look better than the other...
Not that Ireland isn't important (Beer+Potatoes), but why is it such a big deal to everyone?
Every few weeks, they would make the most powerful handheld possible-and ruin their business in the process. Cell phones also have MEMORY cards for extra backup and a fairly large internal "drive" for something so small because people download all sorts of media on their phones. A DS is made for games, not media, so it's no surprise that cell phones have an advantage in that area. What about screen size, control options, etc? The DS wins hands down compared to cell phones-Oh, and it...
I don't think so.
IF you look into it, the Wii has more titles coming out this Holiday season than the other two consoles. BUT a good chunk of those titles are shovelware/poor remakes/short-dev-cycle games. The other titles look good, though. MOHH2 looks to be a great shooter, so does BiA:Double Time, and BWii. How about about rail shooters. Ghost Squad, RE:UC, and Zelda. They are all strong titles. Manhunt 2 anyone? I know that title is NOT a casual one. Maybe NiGHTS is what ...
The graph makes it look like the 360 is gaining some major ground on the Wii because of Halo 3, but I don't think the increase was that much. IF you look at it this way, the Wii is doing very well against the 360 even though the 360 had a 1 year head start...
Look at the desert screen. The sand is bumpy and normal mapped. The Twilight Princess desert is mostly flat with giant polygonal hills here and there.
Samus is a chic and Chief is a guy (unless you watch the home animated video that was pretty cool) and any guy deserving to be called a guy will vote for a chic.
I doubt it. This "demo" looks like they took the sound effects, controls, and graphics engine from 007 Rogue Agent for DS. They probably programmed the "startup" screen (that happens to have an amazing load time...). The multiplayer matches have music in them, and every other Halo multiplayer doesn't. Also, the touch screen "enemy" dots don't correspond with the players on the top screen. I also thought that Master Chief could jump...
Publishing a news story that didn't glorify Nintendo on it's own channel shows maturity. They even had the story about Nintendo failing the "environmental safety" rating or whatever it was. This helps prove that Nintendo puts newsworthy stuff out there instead of using this channel to gloat.
