I've had the Rift DK2 for well over a year, at first i would be green to the stomach and last maybe 15 mins in VR before taking it off, the coasters really hit me hard. But after a while your body just gets use to it, i can now spend hours inside VR, i have literally spents hours playing Elite Dangerous in VR without taking off the headset, even coasters have no effect on me now.
I've actually played Half life 2 in VR and have no problems with it.

You just called out herbalist for being a fanboy, the irony..................
@Bansai
I did say "MY", besides i never played Bloodbourne, it's not my type of game, i may pick it up when it's dirt cheap. MGS5 is awful(coming from a massive MGS fan) Fallout and The Witcher i have once again no interest because of the open world RPG, it just bores me.
Infact, Cities Skylines is my overall GOTY if we are talking about all formats, it's the game i have put most hours into this year.
Until Dawn is currently my GOTY and should be on that list for sure, regardless of what the naysayers say, the PS4 has had alot of good games this year.
Looking forward to 2016 with anticipation.
Sony really didnt help themselves during PSX with that disastrous VR demo, really bad example to use, but VR is nothing like that, Elite Dangerous and Project CARS prove that.
Problem is, it's very hard to explain to someone what VR is without them trying it, so please all the doubters out there, please try it before you knock it.
It's good to see that people who have ACTUALLY tried VR loving the experience and looking to buy a VR headset in the future, be it PSVR, Rift or Vive. There are to many uninformed people on here who are slagging it off without even experiencing what VR has to offer, the fact that most are comparing VR with 3D just shows how wide of the mark they are.
Once again, this place is full of VR experts who know what every gamer in the world wants.
Most of the negatives are coming from people who have never even tried it, lol, most are fanboy comments because their console of choice does not have VR.
I've had the Oculus Rift DK2 for over a year now and it is a major game changer, racing, flight sim are the games i will never play on a boring 2d flatsceen again.
I will be a PSVR owner day 1, i ...
The thing that really really annoyed me the most, was the douche bag who thought his crappy home brew rap music was worthy for everyone to listen to while in-game.
How old are you, they are games designed for kids, but i still play them with my lad because they are fun, if you dont like them, dont buy them, simple.
There are plenty of adult games out there that are just the same rehashed crap put out every year.
If you have no interest in a game, why comment on it.
@mozzie
Those figures didnt include the BO3 PS4 bundle which Sony had exclusive rights on.
No they dont, i love playing co-op with my little lad, his fave is Lego Indiana Jones 2 at the moment. Great games.
I have yet to play this game properly, i have it in my Vita Library but my game backlog is pretty horrendous at the moment.
Cant wait for this, been a fan since the Amiga days.
Urm what? What utter drivel.
PS Move is being used on PSVR
Sixaxis is in every DS4 controller
PS Eye is last gen tech(Now replaced with PS Camera)
PS Vita is doing fine with loads of games announced for it.
PSTV is also doing just fine.
PSP Go is once again last gen tech.
Sony never abandoned any of those things, it's called advancement of technology.
@DoctorFraud
Oh look, another expert in the field of VR, have you even tried it? i highly doubt it looking at your past comments regarding VR.
"VR ain't lasting long and people like you need to stop trying to trick people into wanting one"
Maybe you need to be quiet and let people make their own judgments regarding VR, it's not your money so why the hell do you care?
99% of negative VR comments are coming fr...
@rylo
"Sales dont make a better console"
Errmm yes they do, why do you think the PS4 is still selling by the bucket load two years after launch? It's because it has what gamers want, good games, good exclusives, great diversity, a great community.
Not saying the X1 doesn't have any of these, but people aren't dumb or stupid, they will go for the thing that gives them the best value, the better experience. As of right no...
" Even though the PS4 is leading, the Xbox One has gained considerable ground"
Lol, gained considerable ground?? no it hasn't, The PS4 has outsold the X1 world wide since launch, if anything the gap is growing.
Been dying to play a jet fighter game on my DK2, hopefully this launches with PSVR.
@flex
Three of those exclusives you mentioned aren't console exclusive, Forza 2 came out in 2014, which realistically leaves the X1 with just four exclusives for 2015(if you count the GeOW remaster).
The Order, Bloodborne, MLB 15, GoW, Uncharted Collection, Untill Dawn, Everybody has gone to the Rapture, Journey, Tearaway Unfolded, true console exclusives.
Yet people on here still wonder why the PS4 has sold double what the X1 has.
My wallet just looked at me and whimpered..........
