Errr no, you can not sell the digital version, what fanboy planet did you hear that on? Once installed the game is linked to your account, you can not sell it/trade it. You can trade the physical disc but as soon as you do, MS will de-authorise you digital version on your X1 so you cant play it anymore.

And you think a 500gb HD is gonna cut it? A standard Blu-ray disc holds a minimum of 25gb of data, MS wants us to install a full game on the HD, how long do you think before it fills up. I believe (I could be mistaken) MS has stated that the internal HD was not interchangeable, and no way in hell would they let you install a game on a external HD. I stand 100% behind you about a fully digital future, but surely you need to have a good infrastructure in place to support it.
Here in the UK, PSN games are sometimes up to £10 more expensive than a retail store copy. I have also found this to be true on the XBL.

Hey Valentinus, the PS3 HDD was in Fat32 format, this was done on purpose by Sony to stop piracy and licencing issues with MS(they own the NTFS patent).
I don't see that changing for PS4 i'am afraid.
