To add to your comment and clarification, the X1 is only ahead in the yearly best sellers list due to it only having one SKU code compared to the PS4's 6 SKU's.
All PS4 pre-orders have been spread out over the 6 SKU's.

Pre-orders have always been used as sales indicators by the retail industry. It allows them to forecast buying patterns for the future.

Battlefield 4 was proved to be running on a PC during there presentation, not on a X1 as they stated.

Us "Sony Fanboys" realize that the x1 will use the cloud for serverside computations, what is bugging us is the fact that "MS Fanboys" think that using the cloud will turn the X1 into some sort of Nasa super computer capable of Pixar film graphics.
Many X1 devs using the cloud have stated that only basic calculations such as AI or weather calculations will be done using cloud.
You will never notice the difference during everyday use.

I have been working in the IT industry for over 20 years, I will tell you right now, that no country in the world has the infrastructure in place to do what MS are stating they can do with the X1, nor will there be an capable infrastructure for another 10 years or so.
What you also fail to comprehend is that the PS4 has 50 - 60% more graphics power than the X1, by your logic, the cloud will boost the x1's graphics output to greatly surpass that of the ...

Err no, graphical power is not increased by using the "The Cloud". X1 uses cloud to run CPU intensive calculations. eg AI and weather.
There is way to much latency and bandwidth issues to run GPU calculations server-side.
