I bought my PS3 from Currys due to a family member working there(also got 10% discount!!) I remember going to pick it up in the morning and maybe seeing 5 guys queuing to pick it up.
According to my cousin(guy who got me the discount), DS Group the owners of Currys routinely offered bonuses to sales staff for selling certain items in there stores, guess what PS3 was not on the bonus sheet(the X360 was).

Where do you think the likes of EA, Acti, Bioware, Bungie, Guerrilla, ND all came from?
At one point they were all indies, Sony taking these guys under it's nurturing wings is a good thing.
One day these indies might be the next ND or the next Bungie, they will bring us the next big IP or next big innovation.
Now that is something to look forward to.

Which business in there right mind would spend £425 on a X1 for conferencing calls?
Whatever size your business is, chances are that you have a PC or laptop, you can buy a decent web cam for £30 hook it up and use skype that way.
Chances are big companys already have existing conferencing equipment setup that is far superior to anything a console can offer.

You go into places like Game or even Tesco. I remember the midnight BF3 launch at Game, they were charging £50.00 for the console versions of the game.
Hence i don't buy them on consoles anymore.
Most of there new top IP's are around about £45 - £50 on consoles.
Problem is, they are all doing it, Acti are one of the worst, MW3 was £45 at launch.

They have been charging £50.00 for there top games over here in the UK for PS3 & X360 a while now.
That's why i started to buy these games on PC, as they are retailing them at between £29.99 - £39.99.

Not sure about your Game store, but my local Game has nearly a whole side of a shop dedicated to X360(8-9 1 meter bays, PS3 you are looking at maybe 4-5 1 meter long bays.
