it is morons like these that i stopped playing online, total disgrace.
What?
I see n4g's latest spam filters work then.
@GDDR6_2014
I do understand what you are getting at, but that is a whole different problem.
Cost issues due to hardware & software emulation put an end to BC on PS3.
However, i see Gaikai as the perfect solution to BC when it launches.
@UnHoly_One
I dont get the opportunity to game as much as i would like due to kids and work, but the solution works fantastically for me.
I have 3 DS3s + a old Sixxis laying around, never have the problem of a flat controller battery.
Just in case, i have a extra long USB extension cable as well.
I got me one of these, no need to attach the DS3 to the PS3 anymore to charge.

I just plug the stand via USB into my always on cable box, this way i always have a fully charged controller.
It cost £9.99 from Amazon UK.
@SouthClaw
Dude, why would i want to change my DS4s battery, it is built in?
I still have my original Sixxis that came with my launch PS3, it might have been relegated to guest status and a bit rough around the edges, but it still holds a full charge to this day.
I have no doubt Sony will transfer this quality over to the new DS4.
On topic: I must admit, the X1s controller does look damn good. Hopefully will get to hold on...
@jackanderson1985
Oh yeah, without a doubt.
I still have loads of PS1 & PS2 game discs that i still use on my launch 60gb fatboy.
@jackanderson1985
Maybe inserting the original disc into the drive, PS4 confirms it is a PS1,PS2,PS3 disc and allows you to play game via Gaikia.
Would not be hard to write a bit of software to read those discs.
In my opinion, Gaikai will link to your PSN+ account, that way it should allow you to play games you already own at no extra cost.
This is a troll account of the most infamous troll on here.
Dont you need a remote to turn on the cable box in the first place?
I am being totally serious with this question,I have been asking this same question since the X1 announce, no one seems to be able to answer this.
@LogicStomper
It is British slang for being screwed over, urrrm, in trouble. Closet definitions I can give.
Arent you kinda shafted if there is more than 1 X1 in a household?
Fortunately you can set up a local account for most games on GFWL and not need to login.
Unfortunately some games like Dirt 3 for some stupid reason require to log into GFWL to play single player local games (looking at the douches at codemasters), luckily that game cost me next to nothing so I can take a hit on it and not play it again.
@Fireseed
Actually I do know the cost, I work in the IT department of large automobile comany based in the UK.
Problem is this, large companies such as mine already have conferncing equipment that far outspecs the X1 in terms of video conferencing. No way would a medium to large company even think about using X1 as a conferencing tool, the cons far outway the pros.
I mentioned this to my gaffer out of passing, he gave me a stone cold stare only reser...
Any company seriously contemplating using a X1 as a conference tool, shouldn't be in business. Lol
I just cant see Mr Taxman writing gold off as a business expense.
Were'nt MS pushing the X1 as a business tool?
So companys will have to pay for gold just to conference call on top of the £425 they shell out for the console?
Oh dear.......
I agree, me and my friends have been doing this for years on PS3.
@ZBlacktt
"This is a very intense sport/event"
This is not directed at you dude, but so called esports!
Iam sorry, this is not SPORT, sport is where we get off our lazy arse and do something like, football, tennis, golf, running.
Not sat some in some dark, smelly room in front of a TV shouting abuse about some person on the other side of the world.
People seriously need a reality check.
