That seems a bit odd. I thought you must have unlocked all the trophies to get the platinum? Are you sure? You don't need to complete all the trophies? Just the trophies which you don't need the DLC pack for? In that case, i'm sorry for my comment, I misunderstood the whole thing.
You must buy the DLC, if you are thinking of getting all the trophies and the platinum trophy. Just a trick by Capcom to get more money. Stupid, those trophies should have been in the DLC pack. There are actually people out there, that does not buy things from the store, or they have not the ability to. This is very stupid by Capcom. Trophy hunters will surely buy the DLC pack. I'm not buying it.

Kojima will announce a NEW GAME soon. MGS4 on Xbox 360 is not a NEW GAME, but a port, so it definitely is not MGS4 for the Xbox 360. So you are wrong my friend. I bet Kojima's new game will be Snatcher 2 or Zone Of Enders 3. MGS4 on Xbox 360 is not happening.

Comments like these are not necessary to post, it just becomes a flame way.
This game has absolutely NO VARIETY. That makes it bad. Its just the same red-eyed albino soldiers. Also, the bad storyline and voice-acting makes it even worse. The campaign sucks plain and simple. The only good part is the multiplayer.
I have to disagree on one thing. The controller IS responsive. Its just like that the game is, its realism man.

The game had gorgeous model, landscape, and explosion graphics. Not to mention the lock-on arcade shooting is much, much fun.

The game is also addicting.
I am interested in the game, and I want to try it out before buying.
I love the mercanaries mode especially. My highest score on Public Assembly(My favorite level) is 150,000 or something on Solo. The trick to get a high score is to kill enemies with melee, since you get 5+ seconds :) This game seems to never get boring.
So if I bought the game now and started playing it. Will the DLC trophies count for the platinum then? Or will it not count?
