It’s not that games can’t change their gameplay style to keep things fresh for a series. I just question why Rare would do this to a platforming game that worked so well. The change in focus wouldn’t matter if the new vehicles, objectives and world were fun, but they aren’t. Killzone 2 is average at best. The game has absolutely no fun factor, no variety, bad storyline, bad voice-acting, long loading screens and no co-op.

Resident Evil 5 is entertaining me right now, and it seems to never get boring or old. I love RE5. It will do a god job of entertaining me till MF2 comes out.
You say that it is the best FPS of this generation, but you have no reasons. I have reasons why it sucks:
1. Bad storyline and voice-acting.
2. No variety, just red-eyed albino soldiers.
3. Very limited and basic weapon set.
4. Loading screens.
5. Monotonous gameplay.
That is what I said. Killzone 2 defines the term over-rated. The game should not have 92% on metacritic. I salute Edge for giving it the score it deserve.

Ninja Gaiden is incredible. As (most) everyone else has said, it is beautiful and fluid, and one of the most challenging games of its kind in a long time.
