Why would they fix something that makes them a billion dollars every year?
Stop buying these games. x_x
He directed three of the best FFs.
His list is ridiculously ambitious, but consider me excited.
And he isn't making a final fantasy Skyrim...if you're interpreting that you need some reading comprehension classes.
I bought Brutal Legend because Jack Black starred in it. I hadn't yet played any Tim Schafer games and Tenacious D is my jam. So I think this article it wrong. I'd probably buy Beyond simply for Ellen Page's presence as well if I didn't already want to buy it because Quantic Dream is amazing.
Don't generalize your own opinions I guess.
I bought an extra copy of FFXII once just because it came in a steel case.
I bought Plants vs Zombies three times before I even made it through the entire campaign (Vita version is the tops imo).
I think it is a testament to the game if we're willing to repeatedly spend money on it. Repeated playthroughs are also a good measure.
I think I'd pay money never to hear about Angry Birds ever again.
Hating GTA is not understanding that freedom in a video game will give players the agency to do whatever they want, even if it's killing hookers and running over old people. It's also hating well written video games.
Dissing Call of Duty is a step in the right direction for the entire gaming genre.
Batman's the only good DC character...why taint him with the rest of that clown car.
In defense...who's attacking it? Maybe like 2 people.
I'd love to see it with Valk Chronicles, but Sega as a company seems to have their head up their ass most of the time, so I doubt it'll ever happen.
When I look at that group shot, it just makes me think how badly DC could use an entirely scrapped line up, keep Batman and maybe Superman (maybe) and just start over.
It makes you actually believe that developers/publishers listen to us on occasion, even if it takes them years to follow through. Kudos.
The title and the description. Who approved this?
I don't have to upgrade my console every 2 years in order to play new games.
Bringing some serious acting chops to the gaming world...this is good news no matter how you look at it.
I really hope that isn't a true insight into female gamers.
Though I love the Dragon Age games, I do miss the Forgotten Realms settings and D&D-ness of the Icewind Dale and Baldur's Gate games. I'm not sure we'll ever get back to those, particularly with the WoW effect almost taking over most D&D worlds these days.
That scene, combined with the developer comments about "protecting" Lara, are not at all blown out of proportion. Do you ever think that maybe women, yes they play games too, are tired of seeing female protagonists in situations like this? It's perfectly realistic to think that Nathan Drake would have been captured and raped, and yet that scenario would never occur to anyone in this community. Yet you're all perfectly willing to accept the realism of a woman in that situatio...
I'm a little frightened at the definitions of rape flying around in these comments. Apparently you're all perfectly fine with feeling women up when they're tied down, as long as you don't penetrate. Is that the general consensus?
Nor was the entire article about the R-word, so much as it was about building a character based on bad motivations. Maybe you all should actually read it before you start on your misogynistic hateatribes.
I'd play a game based on any type of Amano involvement, even if the game looked bad. What I won't do is continue to support PSP games when there is a Vita in my hands.
What a super generic list!
