I almost wish I were more into Warcraft, Halo, and Starcraft, and even Gears of War because those all have purportedly decent tie ins as well.
For some reason this reminds me of SSX. Maybe it's the turbo bar that increases with "tricks"?
This should be on the Wii so I can stick the wiimote to my own face for self mutilation!
I bet I'm the only person on n4g who liked Nacho Libre. :(
It wasn't very scary to me, but then again we were surrounded by hundreds of people on a crowded show floor...
Be sure to admit yourself when visiting the website!
So many whacky memories...I hope this isn't a massive letdown.
The more I watch it the more I like it. It's making me want to buy the Maw.
The music. o_o Oh the music. @_@
I hope there's a 15 dollar map pack post release. n_n!
Def. some potential here. Didn't get a chance to play it, but I like the idea of whacking people midair.
You do bring up some fantastic points in regards to reviewing, though you bile at JRPGs doesn't help the argument any because it makes you seem more petty than you probably are.
I'm personally sick of review numbers, but right now no site, or relatively few sites, will do away with that system because it's what 95% of gamers want to see when they go to metacritic or ign or anywhere. I really don't think too many people actually read the reviews...and maybe that's because of ...
I'm not sure its entirely fair to compare games to movies. Games give you an active hand and thus every experience has a chance to be different, particularly when you take gamer skill levels into account. Movies, you just sit back and watch. Each have bias or the possibility of it going in, but only games require any interactivity at all.
I like the article and I think it raises some decent points, and personally I wish we could do away with numbers and all embrace a type ...
Fangirl? Eric back me up here.
We forgot to mention how heavy the rain was. D:!
Can't believe we forgot to mention all the nudity. That would have skyrocketed it to the top of n4g. D:
I never even played the original. :x
Now that I think on it, this is the 2nd Hit Maker NIS game that has had potential but failed due to possibly bad direction...The other was Witch's Tale, which had lots of charm but no...meat?
It's unfortunate that they couldn't have maybe involved a deeper story into an obviously deep combat system. I think that's part of the GoW appeal to me. Much of Kratos' story is superficial, but there's also some stuff in there that's as good as you'll find anywhere in gaming lit.
Juri is the best SF character in the entire history imo!
