I'm seriously beginning to think the PSP may get my money. This and Crush (9.5 on 1up) seem to be worth it. Once my summer classes are over I will give ebay/craigslist a search.
When have you heard that. I think I've seen the argument made that outside of US the PS3 is selling better than the 360, but in all seriousness I haven't come across a post that says something like what you said. I always see... wait till (fill in blank) comes out.
I sort of see this the same as say a political advocacy group. I think the best way to go about reading news from SPG or any site is to understand the source and their potential bias. To prevent people from posting from SPG could prevent N4G from having some very interesting news and thats why I come here (gaming news aggregation) SPG can present truthful relevant information that gamers would not want to miss out on. If we started banning sites why not any site with xbox, play, wii, nintendo...
are you having a problem or just want a quick rundown?. Check tversity.com, they have pretty good instructions for setting up the media server I use. The other choices are listed from the link on the 20 options. The quickest way is probably to download Windows Media Player 11 and follow these instructions from Playstation.com forums - http://boardsus.playstation... <...
It worked ok through the browser but I was getting green bars when I downloaded or used the XMB media server function. I just checked the website and they have issued a patch for the program that is supposed to fix my problem and some other things. Anyone who had trouble previously may want to check this out since it is free.
Edit: and the best thing about it is you do not have to convert your files. AVIs play via transcoding, though it takes a min or two to start playing.
If you watched the fourth quarter YOU KNOW what I'm talking about.
Anyway Im downloading this now. Too bad Im going on vacation in the morning.
I thought that something like this would come when I heard of the eye. Glad its fairly cheap. I used to play at http://www.pokergaming.com/ but I think with the cam this could be really cool.
Quote from the article
"When we're walking around the studio we're starting to see things on people's screens that really make you stop in your tracks to look at. It has taken us longer than we would have liked, but we're really happy with what we're seeing for PS3."
Feed my PS3!!!
Any idea on price? Also would GH1 or two be available in a bargin bin?
To be a gansta...
what I have been waiting for... for the Ubuntu version. But I may give YDL a try since it seems to get more support from Sony on the PS3 Linux development efforts.
In related news, Voltron crushes Sixasis controlled robot. Wii-mote controlled robots have been put under locked guard with 24 hour surveillance.
That sounds great...
FOLDATHON 2 - MAKE IT SO.
mine will be on Sunday night anyway, but double the processing should be matched with some increased attention.
@ITR
I think it is probably more about the lack of HD-DVD releases. If the people bought stand alone players (assuming the have HDTVs) why wouldn't they be able to use it. HD-DVD had an advantage of being earlier to the market and lower price. BR was still faster to get to 1 mill pretty simple to understand.
Wii, I mean 3ee sports without a controller? Forget that - STARING CONTEST... Blink sucka BLINK. lol
Sounds cool will this be out in time for singstar?
"THANKS!
If you signed up for the Home beta test and are one of the lucky few chosen to participate, we will notify you via email. Good Luck!"
I think having the wife fill out the singstar surveys helped
Yeah I was about to get two more controllers so I could have a game-a-thon with some friends on Resistance. Guess I will have to wait. Good news none the less.
Oh yeah, wasn't there some article awhile back about a free replacement from Sony if the battery in the Sixaxis ever goes dead? could we get one of the rumble enabled controllers as a replacement?
I believe HD-DVD had a head start (with no competition) so that would sort of change the assumption of a comparably low attach rate based on raw sales.
From all the site's I've seen they don't count the promotions.
Here is a link to one article.

Please...
tell me that that was a joke, a sad marketing rhyme joke you heard somewhere.
PS: I have a PS3 and reading that was the first time I felt a little ashamed.
