The same goes for the collector edition strategy guide(not that it's necessary!) What sucks, is to get it the same day as you would from the store, it was 9.99 for shipping...on each item! You'd think that they would ship them together. This game ended up costing me way too much. Although I just got the cheaper shipping options. I hope it's worth it. Well, I even heard the regulars at work talking about buying one. This one guy, saw the low priced Sanyo 50" plasma on sale, he wanted that, AND the Toshiba Hd-dvd player. Lots of people buy at these crazy sales. HD-DVD isn't going anywhere for a long time.

Because the HD-DVD version is a combo format. If you take it to your friend's house, that only has an old DVD player, you can also play it in there. I think that's cool. I don't think that they should charge more for it though.

I'm glad that I have a Blu-ray player as well. But, I'm also just as glad to have an HD-DVD player because I bought Transformers the other night when I saw they finally had high def movies at Walmart. I'm also glad that I have an HD-DVD player because my copy of 300 that I got on Ebay the other day has features that aren't in the Blu-ray version. I can tell you, that it's better than most ps3 games currently. Who cares if it's 'a year old game'? I am just now getting to Half Life 2(orange box) for the 360 and I am having a total blast. Comments like that from Predator are just taunts. The game is good!
I loved Halo 3, Bioshock(haven't finished yet, but awesome) COD 4 is good too. However, nothing is as fun as Half Life 2. Everyone touts graphics on COD4, and the water in Bioshock. They're great, but at least HL2 actually has water that reflects what's above it. That can't be said of COD4. That's not that big of a deal, but kinda irritating. Regardless, HL2 is the best.
