It's true what you say, but not entirely. Game systems sell the most at year end, but people still need to know what is GOING to come out, when deciding which system to buy. If I didn't already have both of these competing systems, how would I know what to buy? I would say that I'm a bigger 360 fan, but I have to give credit to Sony now. They have me wanting some games. There are no must-have games coming soon, or in the foreseeable future for the 360 that I can think of off the top of m...
That's funny...because it does seem based on reality. I guess that they wouldn't put in free games if they didn't have many leftovers of games that they thought would sell, or sell better. Motorstorm, and MGS4 were better packins than KFPanda and that Lego game that Microsoft gave away.
Which is worse though, getting a crappy free game, or a really good one? On one hand, it's 'nice' of Sony to give good games away, but yeah, it's indicative that they're not selling so well. I am no...
I just priced some Alienware, and Dell XPS systems. WOW! Those things can get very expensive. They make the new turbo for my car look cheap, and that was 2250 dollars. So, I'll buy the 360 version. Plus, this game will be more fun laying up on the couch in the big living room in the dark!
This game was shown at a tech demo a few years back, showing how useful QUAD CORE technology can be. Don't expect it to run well on a cheap sub 1000 dollar system.
For once, I have to agree with your usual, and tiring negative, sarcastic view of the 360. WTF! I have little over zero interest in Halo Wars. I guess it doesn't matter, since I always have a huge backlog of games to play, but I would like to hear that Microsoft first party and second party have things in the pipeline. At least we know that Sony has things cooking! I'm glad I have a ps3, but I'd like to see healthy competition, and Microsoft seems to have dropped the ball on creativity. ...
Yes, you can pre-order, get your demo, then cancel the pre-order. Of course, I'd wait a little while. I don't know how many times I changed around my pre-orders. I did it with many games, to make sure I got the special preorder editions, and other swag. I was so pissed off tho, when they didn't have my free banjo kazooie xbox live download card, that I just didn't buy the NutsNBolts game anywhere yet. I've had Killzone 2 pre-ordered since I picked up Prince of Persia. I better run over ...
Give me an example of this. the only one that was even close was Burnout Paradise. That's the only one with a teeny tiny difference that may have gone to the ps3...which wasn't enough for me to get it over the xbox360/live version. It's more fun to talk to the other players, and have them have headsets and be able to talk back to ya!
Do you have any concrete examples of games having the ps3 as the lead platform, and having the 360 version not able to keep up?
It's strange, because sometimes the blurrier ps3 images look cool in their own right. I was thinking of one of the images, it's soft focus look reminded me of that look of Metal Gear Solid 4. Nobody can deny how cool that game looks. I wonder if they ever made it for the 360(which I doubt they do), if it would stay the way it looks, or if the graphics would end up a bit more oversharpened(compared to the ps3 version). It certainly wouldn't necessarily look better if it was any sharper. T...
The reason I say so, is because they obviously put the same texture data into the two systems, and the systems display them differently. It's the same as when you see graphics card comparisons. A certain game software/program will basically be the same, but the hardware and it's drivers display things a bit differently. This is why people have said repeatedly that the 360 has better graphics hardware. It does. It's also a reason that I believe that the awesome games on the ps3 could also ...
You win the award for the most unbiased ps3 only owner ever. I have both systems and I usually buy the 360 version. I'm surpised that the Sony regulars haven't invaded this thread yet to put disagree at least 15 times per pro-360 comment.
Show me a link that shows a difference, let alone differences as big as we see with the article we've been referencing for the RE5 demo graphics comparison.
It was KZ2's red eyes complaint, and he countered with Halo not showing Masterchief's face. I agree with him on those being nonissues. With Gears 2, he compared it's enemy count to that of Resistance 2's. He also compared Resistance 2, to Mass Effect, which is the silliest comparison of all. So, here's what I have to ask...
Why is it the Hiphopgamer knows the name of the enemies in Killzone 2, when defending their red eyes(I see his point), but he can't remember the name of...
You said, "we all gave credit to the 360 now it's the ps3 turn."
That's a load of crap right there. I will however, give the ps3 credit right now. I have one, and the exclusives are higher rated this year. There are some awesome games for it! The same for the 360, but not as many awesome ones came out in 2008.
So, NOW, both consoles have great libraries. BOTH! What I find sad is when someone uses the ratings numbers game to eek out a 'win' for the...
screw that, I'd rather have the motion blur that the 360 verson has!
I think it's funny that they show a fighting game...since everyone seems to complain about the 360's D pad.
However, the triggers are much better on the 360 for most games...like you know, games that you're using a gun, or racing games.
Honestly, I just don't think one is that much better than the other.
What makes you think that this guy doesn't also have other gaming systems? I would venture to guess that he or she does have other videogames.
Oh, well, if it was a ps3, and he had all of the games, then he'd be cool!
I have a lot of games, but not that many, I suppose it's more like about 80-100 xbox 360 games that I have. Then, of course the good ps3 games, and a handful of wii games too. This guy just has an obsessive compulsive disorder. Much worse than I do. You know...
However, I do agree that Sony is doing a good job, just like the last two generations, of coming up with new IP's. Microsoft doesn't seem to have much in the pipeline. One thing tho, just because Sony is doing well, there is no reason to even compare it to xbox, or wii, for that matter. Who really cares. I'm just glad that Sony is starting to bring it...to US, the consumers. But, since you guys mentioned it, Microsoft needs to make some new original games! Luckily, I still have a STACK ...
You know, that bald guy talking about the game in the video...He looks like he'd be more fun than this game! I think he likes guys better than girls...which I'm all for. You can tell by his voice and animated hand gestures.
On a side note, why does this game remind me of Crackdown? Which is a good thing. I think it's the visuals.
Don't be afraid of what the blu-ray brigade will say. I don't ever remember playing Shenmue on Dreamcast just dreading when I'd have to take a mandatory break to change game disks. The chances are that NOBODY ON EARTH can play through any one disk in one sitting anyway, and if they do, then they really need to get a job. The ONLY drawback to having multiple discs is if someone steals one, or you lay the game case down, and one of your toddlers gets into it while you're playing another disc...
I know that some might talk about it's dated control scheme. I LOVE the way RE plays and controls. The series fans are gonna love this. I just hope that we don't have anybody start bashing this game, because God knows that there will be a fanboy or two knock it for not being an exclusive to their favorite platform...making the game unworthy to them. You know the type I'm talking about.
Is that you in that picture? Nice. Anyway, the point of the article wasn't some call to make more gay characters with stupid stereotypes. The story mentions the farmer's boy, who was gay, and the farmer didn't know it. It wasn't about the farmboy wearing a dress, or speaking with a lisp.
I don't see how this storyline would have ANY negative effect on anyone. It's just part of a bigger game and story. I think it's fine. I don't think the author wants to have anyone make ...
