I sometimes think I have to have ALL of the best games, and although I have a nice backlog to play, I don't wanna miss out on getting extra stuff these days by preordering. I think I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 400+ games including this and last generations games. I have about 50 that never have been opened. That's a great score. I personally thought that the first Resistance was better than the review scores indicated. I finished it, which is saying a lot when there were then, as well as now, so many good games to play. I would refrain from sounding the death knell for the 360 however. I really doubt that the GOW2 game gets as good as a score, but that doesn't mean we won't be buying it. I bought Fable 2 collector's edition, will be buying Resistance 2, and Little Big Planet here soon. BUT...

I've been kinda broke since spending about 20K on my car for upgraded engine, gears, turbo, exhaust, headers, injectors, and the like...but one game I will definately be getting on day one is Fable 2. I want it more than Gears of War 2(which I also have to get along with Resistance 2, and LBP.) I loved Fable, it's whole atmosphere, and even the way they characters talk just was very unique and interesting...and FUN.

My 360 has had NO problems at all. I got it the day it was launched. If it dies, I'll buy another one...oh wait, it's still covered by warranty...I bought an extended warranty from Microsoft, so it's good until 2009. Quite a bargain so far.

If the object behind the water body is a big ROCK, then right where the water meets the ROCK, it shouldn't look like the water is reflecting a bunch of light. I realize that to get realistic water, it takes way too many calculations, but when you guys are gushing over how awesome this is, it makes me think you just came from playing a N64. Half life 2 had better water effects than this.

I prefer the AC/DC Let there be Rock! commercial, however, this one isn't so bad. Basically, I'd say there are different types of commercials that get different types of people's attention. THEN the real meat of the ad shows the pricepoint. That'll get lots of attention and engrain it into lots of parents' heads, right until they have to make some purchasing decisions by Christmas. Man, I don't know, I SERIOUSLY think that fallout 3 seems a bit on the heavy side, while Fable 2 just seems more whimsical and FUN. I've never played any other fallout game though, so I can't really say. I just think Fable 2 will be awesome. Fable 1 was pretty cool and unique. The graphical styles are so dissimilar. I prefer the old cottage look of Fable 2. Oh, and you can be gay in Fable 2. Ya gotta love that. True freedom. (even if you don't choose that yourself)
Get BOTH games. But, as someone who gets multiplats on xbox, I have to say that from the screenshots, that Resistance 2 looks better. Who cares, both are amazing. One note, to anyone who's played res 1 and gears 1...Resistance had much more fluid graphics. Gears was choppy. Still, both were fun and I finished them both. It's nice to look forward to two great games.
It's nice that Dom has a woman I guess, but I would've rather just imagined that he's a big ole homo that really wants Marcus for his big hot body. That video is the most pointless one I've seen. There is no direction and it's timing is irrelevant some old, some new. After watchin the video, I noticed that when the screen scrolls on the beach scene especially, all of the background buildings are jumpy on the 360 version, but smooth on the ps3. I hate that. I want the smoother version. Also, like a guy said earlier on this thread, the sand itself has the hdr on the ps3, but it doesn't on the 360. I guess people are right. I hate to get the ps3 version because of it's controller, and it won't have the downloadable content. OR the achievements...which ...

Paying full price for a high def movie is crazy.
There have been BOGO sales for hd-dvd and blu-ray a lot lately. My collection has grown by leaps and bounds. 78 HD DVD's and 32 Blu-ray discs. I think it's funny how Warner thought the format war was the big problem in adoption of high def. That may have been a contibutor, but I think a big drawback is seeing new hi def movies with $34.99 price tags even in Best Buy. FORGET IT! Even with the sale that had buy 3 get 2 free, I skipped...
this is just a marketing tool for Microsoft. I already have xbox live AND netflix. I will usually just get the disc in the mail if I wanna see a movie. I get three at a time, and that's always more than I have time to watch each weekend, or even through the week. However, it would have been nice to watch some movies in 'semi HD' that the xbox 360 would've provided for movies that aren't yet out on hd dvd or bluray.
Yeah, my 360 is a launch one, so I guess I'll see how this pans out...
