I am looking forward to this game.
Unlike the author, I really don't like the glowing balls, however, I do agree with the wait and see approach to the move. If games really find a good way to use the move, then I will pick it up. There is just nothing out there that would motivate me to use this.
What is all the hype about with this thing? I just can't see how it is going to create a new experience with gaming considering both the Wii and the PS3 have games that use cameras to track your movement.
I said it once and I'll say it again, I am going to take the wait and see approach as the games announced for the move, I would rather play with the sixaxis.
Sidar, check out Nintendo's financial statement here: http://www.nintendo.com/cor...
I am not saying that they were not profitable, but they definitely did not have the money that Sony or Microsoft had. I am hoping that the next console from Nintendo fixes their online problems.
Okay lets get this straight, it was because Nintendo did not do original that they lost to PSX and PS2. It was nintendo how was first to brag about visuals (N64), and the only reason that Nintendo came out with the Wii is because they were did not have the cash that Microsoft and Sony had to invest in new technology.
Nintendo did not know how well the Wii would preform. So stop with all this PR stuff and just give us a better online experience. Until that day happens I don...
I just can't for the life of me figure out why someone would invest that kind of money in Live. I am still kicking myself because I paid $50 for PSN+.
Honestly if gamers would hold companies more accountable and be more open to switching to a better service instead of defending "their" console, the whole industry would benefit from it.
Game testing is used primarily to get your foot in the door. All the testers that I know of have degrees in computer science or graphic design.
I just can't say how angry I am that people would do something like this to their PS3, however, I feel like a hypocrite because I have a PSP which is hacked.
Nothing beats those early videos of broken TVs because someone let go of the Wiimote. Those are my favorites, and make the Wii all worth it. Good luck to both the Move and Kinect.
That is because we are all busy playing our Wiis!!
Actually nintendo has said that it is now going after the hardcore crowd. If Sony and Microsoft continue with their casual approach to gaming, then Nintendo might win. I think the 3DS speaks volumes of how creative Nintendo is. As for Move it is a glorified Wiimote with a silly glowing ball at the end of it. I am not impressed.
He is saying the camera is in the controller.
Wow, talk about someone who don't understand the technology, but the the PS3 Move is not as fast as the Wiimote. PS3 Move = PS3 using hardware to interpret the motions while the Wiimote = the controller interpreting the motions. From what I have been hearing from everyone the Wiimote is superior, and it doesn't have that stupid glow ball on the end. You can't say that the glow ball is something that hardcore gamers are going to want to play with all day. I have a PS3, but I ne...
I didn't know that the Wiimote was better than move because it was IR. That is good to know. Move does look ridiculous.
My understanding is "Core" gamers didn't want motion controls, and from what I am reading in forums, they are not going to be racing to the store to pick up these motion controls.
Sony may pick up some "core" gamers as they are making games like killzone 3 compatible with move, however, what is microsoft thinking with Kinect? Who are they targeting? I believe the most attractive feature of Wii is that it is cheap and comes with motion controls.
Okay, there is no way to quantify "overrated" so it is apparent that this article is talking about the authors opinion. (I would like to see the underrated games of all times list!)
However, my personal understanding of overrated would be games that scored really high, but sold poorly. For example "Just Dance Wii" scored only a 2.0 on IGN, but it has almost 4 million copies in a year. This game is clearly underrated as it is a huge success. Any of th...
The name is very similar to XBOX. HAHAHA XBOX and EBOX, now you can see the parent of these teenagers getting all confused.
However, there is no way that this will work anywhere outside of China because gamers are passionate about "their" console.
My personal opinion is don't buy the games. The good thing about competition is that someone else is bound to make a game if there is a sudden demand for it. There are hundreds of games that sell over 1 million copies and that is not from used game sales. Most people sell their games so that they can get new ones. If you really want to get rid of used game sales, go after the companies who sell used games, not the gamers.
So you are banned from PSN, so what. PS2 b/c is more important than spending money on psn.
