I agree that it is different, however, I also think that it is better. I guess it is just a matter of opinion.
I think the most promising feature for Steam on PS3 is that you can buy a version for the PC and get one for the PS3 for free. I think everyone will benefit from that.
I think the writer was talking about the best seller games for $29.99. Uncharted and Ratchet and Clank are my favs on the list.
Did they ever fix the load times with modnation racers? I played the demo and the load times where too long for my tastes, so I am wondering if they fixed it with patches or something?

I am a PSN+ member. I was from month one, but I believe this should be something for everyone, not just the ones who have PSN+. I don't believe that we should have to pay to play online.

Thanks guys, I think I'll give tomb raider a try. When I started playing Uncharted I felt like the shooting took away from the enjoyment of exploring (Which opinion changed as I progressed through the game) so I like the idea of a game focused more on exploration.

I really hate it when people compare prices to movie tickets. $20 for a two hour movie is paying $10 per hour of entertainment. Really? If I buy the movie when it is released on Blu Ray or DVD then I can watch it over and over and over with no extra costs. If they added content via Blu Ray live, it doesn't cost extra. If I buy the blu ray movie used, I don't have to pay extra to be able to watch the movie. And if I loan it to a friend to watch, they don't have to pay to use ...
