Lets face it, everyone must purchase a Wii now because PSN is down.
Well all credibility for this website has gone out of the window. What do you mean will you go back? Of course everyone will go back to PSN once it is back up, it is part of the Playstation 3.
I have this feeling that I am going to be disappointed with Nintendo's Next generation controller.

If I had the money I wouldn't mind picking up an Xbox 360, as I would love to play the Gears of War series. However, I don't have the money to do so, so I'll stick with Sony. However, now that PSN is down I decided to do more activities outside instead of playing single player games. It is a nice change.
BTW, I am not worried about my credit card information being taken. I have it on hold so no one can use it unless you call in first.

I don't really think you need google as N4G has been swamped with Articles on the PSN outages.
Thank goodness it is PSN and not google. Can you imagine what would happen if Google were to crash for a couple of weeks?
I don't care what Sony says, I think some inside Sony was responsible for the intrusion. Maybe that person is helping Anon, but credit card information all your personal information is generally behind many firewalls and on a separate server. I am having a hard time believing it wasn't someone within Sony.
I agree, this article didn't really sound like they they are planning on reimbursing PSN users, and honestly I don't think they should (the service is free).
You know I would rather Sony continue to provide PSN for free, instead of trying to go the route Microsoft.

Sony is being very stupid about our confidential information being compromised. While it is not Sony's fault that PSN was hacked, it still remains their responsibility for whatever happens. Thus the class action lawsuits which will follow. Anyone could see this coming...maybe this is why Sony is being quiet on the whole issue.
The Examiner should not be a legitimate source for N4G. I wish they would change their policies.
I bought my car for more money than that laptop, however, once it was paid off, it is worth less than half the laptop. Oh well.
I think the thing slowing it down is bandwidth. Honestly, even in the United States, there is now way that I am going to wait to download anything more than 10GB.
However, if Steam is any indication of the future, I can say that it is just so much more simple to purchase games off of Steam. I can't wait for the day when a 50GB file can be downloaded within 30 minutes.

Well with Microsoft scrambling to pickup the casual crowd, now might be a good time for Nintendo to duke it out with Sony for the "Enthusiast" gamer.
While, I have the I'll wait and see attitude, if Nintendo does everything right, I would gladly pick up their new console.
If what is being speculated is true, it would be awesome to be able to play Smash Brothers.
They should really add a tab for PSN outage news, that way we can easily read the gaming news. So PSN is down, it is not like it is the end of the world.
I am looking forward to seeing what Nintendo is planning with its new console.
