*sigh* I honestly didn't. anyway, i'm in the middle of uploading a video to Youtube to prove it to you. hopefully it'll be soon. I'll edit this post when it's done.
EDIT: in response to what you added: Ha, yeah, that's true anyone could find a video on youtube of someone with the addon. However, how unlikely would it be that they'd have the same gamertag as me, HDDVDs that I listed, and also be saying the same things? And I didn't edit my original post. Seriously!
Ha, don't be silly. Why would I pretend to have the HDDVD addon? If you want pictures as proof then just say and I'll do it.
I didn't edit my post at all. Everything that I said originally is there and unchanged.
EDIT: Just to make a point. The HDDVDs I own are King Kong, V for Vendetta, Superman Returns, Batman Begins, The Last Samurai, A Scanner darkly (that's in the post, it's not arrived yet) and Constantine.
You're right, and that's why it's labelled as a rumour. I've been searching through the archives of The Associated Press' website and I can't find any confirmation of the interview. I'm assuming The Associated Press is American so the fact that they listed the date 6/4/07 in the original forum seems a little odd. Because, and I'm assuming this is how American's write their date, that would mean the fourth of June. I've searched to the 6th of May and nothing turned up, I'll try to the 6th of A...
This has been known for a while, it's general knowledge that if HDDVD does fail then a Bluray player will be released for the Xbox 360. However, I do find it a bit hard to accept that the Bluray player will be realeased before christmas this year because that would be a litte too early to determine the winner of the next-gen format.
This news doesn't make me bitter though. I can imagine many people are thinking that owners of the HDDVD addon (I have this, by the way) will think...
First of all, the screenshot wouldn't be in 1080p. After all these are games for PCs and that's not the standard resolution PC gamers play games at. Infact, the 'p' is redundant as all monitors are progressive scan.
Secondly, why bring DirectX 11 into this? You know NOTHING about the features of DirectX 11 because nothing's been said about it. Direct X 10 isn't even out yet.
This is purely a graphics comparison, because that's all the majority of people seem to c...
Erm. No.
Engadget is not owned by Joystiq.
This isn't a new press release.
I've had King Kong Crash when it was on the title menu screen. But that was because the console had frozen, not because of the HDDVD drive.
You make it seem so easy :P
Multiplayer screenshots from a 'video' series? riiight. :S
Erm, you do know that the 'so called trip mine' was actually referred to as a trip mine by the developers, don't you? The shield device and the trip mine are both mapped to the X button, I assume that you'll have to use the D-Pad to choose which to use. Watch the video again, the trip mine looks different to the shield grenade.
So you don't have to watch it all again:
"Say you start getting hit by a battle rifle from behind, and say you have a bubble shield...
'All of the game footage in this doc was taken during the Alpha stage and isn’t even representative of what you’ll see in the Public Beta, let alone the final game. You will see frame rate skips, unfinished animation and graphical features that will change come Fall. All the footage is clearly marked Alpha. You’re looking at the features here folks, not the final quality bar – which we’ve set pretty high. Your next taste of that will be in May. '
Well, as far as I'm concerned, you're still the retard. All you did there was link me to a site to buy a calculator that has no mention of being able to play Mario on it. It's a graph calculator, well done. Now can you tell me how you're going to play Mario on that? No, I'll have to do it myself:
You could have linked to http://www.ticalc.org/archi... . But no, you were dumb.
You can't play Mario on your calculator; stop being a retard.
First of all, I'm going to have to say these are fake with it being 1st April in Australia and the stunt they've pulled earlier today with the SEGA console.
And Bigmc573: Shut up, How can you tell which looks better when all you can see is a LOW RESOLUTION PHOTO of a magazine. Infact, if theses are real, show me ONE screen on GT that looks better than http://w...
"Francis Ford Coppola's Koyaanisqatsi" - Erm, no. It was directed and written by Godfrey Reggio, Coppola was a producer.
... please tell me you screen resolution ISN'T 800x600 and that's just been resized.
This is a canadian site, so it's in CAD rather than USD. Think a little.
.. My VAIO laptop can do this, what's your point?

There you go. I've run out of bubbles now, so if you want to discuss it further then PM me.
