""It's a complete departure from Crysis and Far Cry, it's not a first-person shooter," he explained. The game, which is also bound for Xbox 360, won't feature any of the cross-platform issues that have been plaguing sloppier releases."

Erm, what? This is being developed for the Xbox 360 as well as the Playstation 3

This is the way E3 ends, not with a bang but a whimper. :P

It's been a good flow of content these past few days, I think it would've been better if there was a big demo on the last day though

KingJames: Yes, mine can. And I don't have an iPhone. That's not a new feature! Plenty of phones do that.

It's not owning in Europe. At least, not in the UK

Free roaming games can have demos too :)

Saints Row, TDU, and Crackdown all had demos

EDIT: However, I think I agree with you. I don't think there'll be a demo for GTA 4

No problem. I'm here to help :)

I think that despite you being the author of this you still have to change it to third person for this website. It should go something like this:

"First off, ENN0 doesn’t want people to get the wrong impression; that this is another article in favour of one of the new high definition disks. Believe it or not, this is a totally un-biased article on his view of how things are doing in Europe with Blu-ray and HD DVD. So let's get the ball rolling with his tour around Europe.....

Thanks for reminding me :)

In a sense, yes. That and much more. I think fable is the beginning of this and we won't see it happening in full until the next generation of games consoles.

You could use a sped up version in a game. There was a game called Shadow of Memories made by Konami where you had to travel in time to prevent your death (I never completed it). But an effect like this could be used in a game like that, maybe instead of having a timer in the bottom of the screen. If you're running out of time, then your surroundings slowly begin to degenerate? I'm not sure how that'd work in a game, but I think it'd look impressive.

I've also noticed a lack of HDDVD in the UK, but I think that might just be the area that I live in. In the HMV store that's closest to me they have twice the space they have for HDDVD for Blu-ray. Which makes me a bit sad since I only have an HDDVD player :P

Although, I've noticed that Gamestation (again, I can only vouch for my local shops) only stocks HDDVDs. And, of course, Blockbuster only stocks Blu-ray but have HDDVD when you order online.

Anyway, I hope w...

I think that the main difference in cost is the Blu-ray player in the Playstation 3. If the Xbox 360 had that in then I'm pretty sure the pricing would be similar.

Wow. That was quite impressive! I particularly enjoyed watching the '4D Comet Oleary Graphics Demo'

That's not anti-gravity. That's low gravity. Anti-gravity would be a force that was pushing them away from the planet. They wouldn't return to it.

Other than that, this video isn't too bad :p

Well, I can take pictures/make a video again to prove it to you if you like. :P

I must have a different version of it than you, I've no idea why they wouldn't include U-Control, I'll check in Asda and Tesco to see if their versions have it (They might have excluded it in the European release for some strange reason?) and if they DO have it, I'll be a little bit annoyed because I'd have paid the same amount for less content. A little bit like the Xbox Live Marketplace :P

No, for some reason y version of King Kong doesn't have it :/ and there's no mention of it on the back.

However, just about all of my WarnerBrothers HDDVDs have their equivalent ( IME - In Movie Experience)

EDIT: by the way, I wasn't saying Batman had U-Control, I was saying it had IME :P

Kovenator:

I think it's a little more weird that you call a sport where you primarily carry the ball with your hands "Football" and you call a sport where you kick the ball with your feet "Soccer".

Anyway, we invented football :P

Oh, and in response to your question.. We call your"football" Rugby. That's the closest thing we have to it over here and it's what your "football" is based on

I've managed to do that on a Batman Begins (but that's IME) I can't find the U-Control thing, it doesn't appear to be there for me :/

I'll have another check

EDIT: Yeah, in 'Setup' I ave 'Spoken Launguages', 'Subtitles' and 'Button Sounds'. Bollocks! Looks like I don't have it.

There's only 3 options for me by the way. Play, setup and scenes

Could this be another cliché post?.. Yes. Yes, it is. Try and comment on articles with a little bit of a positive attitude, eh? That's a good chap :P

Hello again! :P

Which Universal HDDVDs have U-Control? I heard King Kong had it but i can't find how to access it :/.
