Homebrew can often keep a console alive well after its prime. Sony stopped making games for this thing forever ago and it's essentially a dead console in terms of any major titles. So it's strange to see Sony being so aggressively anti- cfw
I actually think there's a good chance that EA is going to step back and let bioware make an amazing single player game with DA 4. And I also think it's possible that this will be one of their best games ever. To be honest if it doesn't end up being game of the year material they may be on their way out after.

The Vita was unsuccessful due to a high price point with alongside no 1st party support. If I'm not mistaken it was 250 at launch with the added cost of a 32gb Vita memory card and a game you'd easily be dropping over 400 at launch. Combine that with Sony's failure to continue producing higher quality titles for it past year 2 and people rightfully stopped paying attention to it. Which is sad considering how amazing that device is.
Why does anyone care that the switch will likely surpass PS4 . Both are successful consoles and that's good enough for me I own no stock in any of these companies
Xbox version is definitely happening. Give it a year or 2.

Sometimes buying a studio isn't about gaining something but rather about making sure that your competition doesn't have that something. It is important that Sony buys stuff or they risk letting MS purchase all the talent.
