Why shouldn't they be trolling the product? Seriously, it's a waste of everybody's time. It's destined to fail. Has PPV replaced owning DVDs? You don't get to KEEP the game. You pay a rental fee.
Also, there will be around 1.5 seconds of in-game lag. Try playing shooters, fighters, or any game that isn't competitive Tetris, really, and you're screwed.

They aren't talking exclusively about Mature games though. They're talking about the "lack of" good exclusive third-party Wii games. Because apparently Wii games that are either good or exclusive or first-party don't count.
Also, I like how House of the Dead: Overkill comes into the equation. Rail shooters are niche as hell. It's like people claiming that good games don't sell on the Wii because BlastWorks had poor sales (I've seen this argument). Sigh.
I hate these articles and the replies people make to them. The article is based on VGChartz numbers, yes, never a reliable source until they adjust their numbers according to reliable sources (so what's the point?).

That's actually false. It has credits of the Ready at Dawn studio -- the people that did the port. They didn't have any credits of the original members of Clover who did the original game, though.

I clicked disagree, but then realized you're right. There IS a difference between making games and publishing them. The difference being, they've published good games like House of the Dead: Overkill and MadWorld, and made crap games like Sonic and the Secret Rings & Sonic With a Sword.
Because at least Sega has published SOME good games in the past 10 years.

I think the problem is, hardcore games are nowadays considered to only really be mature games. Games with guns and shootan' and gore. This is not what REAL hardcore gamers play. Hardcore gamers play good games, of varying genres. This is what the Wii has, and is only going to get more of. Unfortunately, because it doesn't have many mature FPSes, people think it's just not a hardcore gamer's console. Go figure.
