Like I said I haven't got a PS4 yet so I can't judge it for myself, it just seems that it takes Sony a lot longer to resolve issues when they arise. I've seen plenty of people complaining about PS4 being down and how long it takes for them to sort it out.
Most people are happy with Xbox live because MS have proven how swiftly they can sort out problems, have many dedicated servers and they have updates every month.

CoD will no doubt help push consoles for PS4 just because people will want to stay on top because of the tournament scene, I don't like CoD at all, much rather play Rainbow, Halo and Gears. It's a good deal for Sony though overall.
CoD is just getting worse and worse, its shameful how little innovation there is considering the money they make off it. I do think the zombies is the best thing about it, but that wouldn't interest me if we got another Left 4 dead game.
You're right Xbox has had a few issues here and there with party chat and friends list, but it hasn't been to much of a problem especially for the last month or two. All services will have issues here and there, it just comes down to how quickly the issues are resolved. Xbox has a mass of dedicated servers and that's one of the major things that set's it apart from the competition.
On Xbox there have been the odd problems with starting party's and your friends list showing up, but its pretty rare for the whole of Xbox live to be down, can't remember the last time it was down it's a solid service.
I haven't got a PS4 yet, but it seems like it suffers a lot more full on outages from what people say. Sony have got to offer more reliability to their customers as they're now paying to play online.
Agree with what you say, the people constantly bashing Xbox don't intend on ever owning one because they're loyal to a brand. Everyone I know that owns an Xbox are more than happy with it.

Going to grab one myself, they do look really nice. Very good price considering how much a scuf can set you back. I'm just curious on how much warranty you get on the new controller, hopefully its a year.
Really is pathetic how fanboys are trying their best to ruin Xbox. You would think Sony fanboys would be happy with how well the PS4 is doing, but no they have to keep bashing everything Xbox related. It obviously comes down to jealousy, that's the real issue here.
I don't think MS are desperate at all, how much money do they make yearly and what do Sony make? MS has a multitude of products they will all soon be integrated, that's part of the plan and its going to be very hard to compete with. Even if Xbox loses money it doesn't matter because its a vital part of the vision they have for the future.
People need to get over the whole graphics thing, it didn't look much different to what was shown for the PS3, but a game shouldn't be judged just for how good it looks. I've played a lot of games that have great graphics and the gameplay sucked, also played plenty of games where the graphics weren't the best but the gameplay more than made up for it.
I don't think it was graphically underwhelming at all, it wasn't the best trailer I'll agree with that. Gears has a lot of different effects in play compared to many other games, the way bodies just get blown to pieces with blood and guts flying everywhere is no easy task to achieve, there will no doubt be a ton of enemy's on screen and plenty of big battles, all that while being co-op is pretty damn impressive.

They showed the wrong type of trailer for E3, Gears will be a great game no doubt and I'm looking forward to it. Graphics were great, but we needed to see more action.
Will be grabbing myself a PS4 just for this game, if you have a last gen fightstick use a Cronus Max.
Most people will probably hold off until there are reviews like they say, I think people are just confident it'll be a great pad though because of how good the standard pad has been. The price is actually really good as well when you compare it to scuf pads. The controller is expensive, but it is marketed towards the pro gamers, if casual gamers also want one then its their decision and money. Either way its about choice and its great they're offering more quality products.
Get a grip, people can spend their money how they like. Xbox has the best controller by a mile, DS4 has crappy battery life, thumb sticks that fall apart and overall just cheaply made compared with the XB1 pad. Like you say its all preference, but I'm pretty sure the XB1 pad is far superior, still got my day one pad which has thousands of hours of gameplay.
The sad thing about all this is the fact that it just shows how far the hate towards MS has gone, its a constant bombardment of negativeness anything Xbox related. I get that people love Sony and all, but when people are constantly going out of their way to attack positive things like BC for Xbox its laughable.
Can you imagine if Sony had BC and MS had a service like PS Now, MS would be torn to shreds and we'd have a billion articles telling us how bad MS is for charging...
I thought that games like Battlefront will struggle to run on PS4 with Morpheus, doesn't it require like 120fps for it to be good experience. I don't think that consoles have the horsepower to run demanding games using VR.
I think people need to actually play the beta and then they'll see its a lot better than the 360 version. A lot of people on this site really go out of their way to bash anything on Xbox, its got to the point that it's almost no point in being excited for anything coming to Xbox because it just gets bashed on.
There are a ton of great games coming to Xbox this year and the next, that's obviously why people are jealous. I will say I'm not the biggest Sony fan,...
I just want to see what the Halo console is going to look like, the Forza 6 Xbox looks amazing, but I'm hoping the Halo console is even better.
