Shouldn't this say last gen, not current gen? Isn't current gen PS4 and Xbox One. I can see a great deal of people getting confused, those in particular that never read the actual article.

Actually in a Kotaku interview Sakurai has said that the Wii U and 3DS version are considered 4 & 5. As they are not identical games.
So no one should be alarmed by this but I guess we will find out tomorrow for sure. Nintendo would be committing Wii s-U-icide if they seriously push this to 2015, seems highly unlikely they would. No doubt MK8 will do very well but they need more than one big exclusive per year.

Should be noted if you are interested in ESF:Final, you will have to wait for that version to be released. The final version is the screenshots shown above and the newer movies added which is a huge upgrade from version 1.2.3.
The older versions look nothing like that. Keep that in mind.

Looks excellent, will definitely play this but my only gripe is that looks very similar to Street Fighter and less like a DBZ game in some aspects. I didn't know Goku did the Tatsumaki (spin kick), Shoryuken (uppercut) and the Hadouken that Ryu does.

Why choose which is better when you should just get both? I play both everyday.
I mean if you want to get real technical though both systems have their ups and downs. I could never say which is honestly better as they balance out pretty evenly in my opinion. I could only comment on what each system could improve on but really no sense as most my improvements are all hardware based so not much you can do about that besides wait for the new handhelds to come along.
I don't think it needs saving, seems to be doing a lot better than it was. Definitely not doing poorly in japan either, it has had steady numbers constantly, the only thing beating it is the 3DS.

I am sorry but the excuses people make for weaker hardware are absolutely ridiculous, I own a Wii U and guess what I can live with that fact knowing it is the least powerful system out of all the three right now. I also understand that it's going to cause some problems as far a multiplats are concerned. Whether you like it or not this is going to happen more often because developers will utilize the PS4/Xbox One more simply because of their sales and also because of their flexibility.

Much more powerful CPU's, more RAM, much more powerful GPU's. Everything is better, they just don't have more GB's, whatever that even means.
Wii U runs on an IBM 3 core processor, has only 1GB of allocated RAM for games that is DDR3, the only thing good in the Wii U is the GPU really. That is its saving grace.
