So you're saying you didn't like the game? I agree. I think it has the depth of an inflatable pool. What a waste of 60 bucks when there are games like Gears of War 2, Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, Resistance 2, LittleBigPlanet, Fallout 3, etc.
Buying used games is pointless since they're usually only five to ten dollars cheaper and may be scratched to hell and back. I will never put a scratched up disk that looks like it was shoved up someone's ass into my PS3 or 360. It's not worth it.
That is bound to happen but at the same time you have to appreciate the game for what it does. It allows you to free roam a vast world rather than pushing you down linear levels. It's great to play Fallout 3 and then go to Gears 2 or COD:WAW. These games offer different experiences and that's why it's great to have variety in gaming.
Hits retail in two months?? Feb 27 09? That would be about a little less than three months and it can't come soon enough.
I agree ^^^ It's much more polished and left4dead looks dated in my opinion. Depth wise, they both offer the same lol
Too many phenomenal games that came out this year to single one out for overall game of the year. It must be broken into categories and even some of those feel like there isn't one deciding game that should win it outright.
This guy should just kill himself
I think both games compliment each other wonderfully. I love playing both and I hope there's more to come.
If I didn't already own a PS3 and LBP, this would be an insta-buy
I said it a year ago, and will say it again because it's still relevant. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is soooo ahead of it's time. Maybe, just maybe Killzone 2 will compare, we'll see...
By the way, the lead console for development was the PS3, after half way through they switched from the 360.
It was only 30bucks for the day of black friday at Target. I went to pick one up at three in the afternoon and they were all long gone
From the gameplay videos that I watched, this game looked very average. The graphics weren't polished at all and the gameplay was just a scorpion walking around killing bugs. This game looks like it will be too repetitive to make an impact.
The only exclusive for the 360 that is comparable to R2, LBP, and MGS4 is Gears of War. I own both systems and I think that sales don't affect me at all, it's all about the FUN FACTOR and HIGH DEFINITION EYE CANDY.
I have personally purchased three copies of the game. First copy I sold because I was soooo caught up in GOW2 and Fallout 3 that I lost interest in it but once I realized I made a mistake, I had to buy it again. I also bought a copy for my cousin for Christmas. Between Resistance 2, LittleBigPlanet, and Metal Gear Solid 4, those are killer exclusives in my opinion and three huge reasons to own a PS3.
I just bought a 60gb Pro model about three months ago and I want another one just in case. I'm gonna wait until they clear out all the older systems from their inventory. I figure I will buy the Jasper model in about 6 months from now so I know for sure I'm getting that particular model.
Fallout 3, Gears of War 2, LittleBigPlanet, Resistance 2, Call of Duty: WAW, and Dead Space. I know that's six but those titles are all a must in my opinion.
To say anything aside from Fallout 3 would almost be a crime. That game is most definitely RPG of the year and probably overall game of the year.
I own both systems but for some reason I care more about earning trophies rather than achievements and I don't know why
This list is a disgraceful failure
