I think Crysis will push the next gen consoles like never before. I hope to see something special at GDC from Crytech.
Better see an increased frame rate before it's any kinda hit for me. Looks great in stills...crap in motion...at least anything I've seen yet.
I dig the story and the gameplay possiblities but the graphics need help. No other way to say it.

I too would say SNES. With Genesis probably in 2nd...I loved the 16 bit era.
Hmm...Its a shame that it's going along so rough because it is probably the best LOOKING game I've ever seen.
The funniest thing about this whole thread is that PS3 fanboys actually believe somewhere deep within their idiotic souls that the PS3 version of GTA4 will sell more copies than the 360 version.
MS paid $50 mil...therefore, they will get their money's worth...10 hrs of extra gameplay per each of the 2 packs!!
Man, there are games for 360 that require HDD to even play.
Oh, and these types of engines just prove how far ahead the West is ahead of the East. Nothing out of Japan even touches the several-years-old Havok system.

Too bad EPIC forgot how to make good games in general. RFOM and CoD4 blow UT3 out of the water on PS3. Gears of War is overrated trash...Cliffy B is the most overrated guy in the biz.

RFOM was a great FPS and this may just be the title to sway me to PS3. I really hope it lives up to it's lofty hype.

All EA should do is bring in a rated R movie that has 10x more sex...you could probably find a PG rated movie that has more sex than ME.
Oh, and video games have a ratings system as well...shame that it is ignored yet games are still liable as though every single one should be acceptable for a 3 yr old to play.
