The first game had the worst ending I have ever seen in a game.
A blatant cash grab by Ubisoft, they ended the story just as it was amping up and getting ready to go. Right when the climax should have occured, it was done.

God of War 2, in my opinion, stole a lot of thunder from the PS3. If they had released it as a PS3 title instead of PS2, it would have done a lot for the system in the early days.
