No need. Sea of thieves is looking to be amazing. 9s and above reviews. It was a top 5 streamed game on twitch for its closed beta and stress tests. And that was the bare bones version.

Things like the battlefront fiasco will continue to happen. Consumers will get tired of getting nickle and dimed. The market will correct itself with a crash and big pubs, ubisoft, ea, activision will most likely be slapped hard. The "cool" new way to present your games will be saying they contain no microtransactions.
Capitalism will run its course. IMO

Well if they are going to start new on console, why not start where it all began and build up from there?
I'm completely biased of course. Being around 7 years old when red/blue first came to U.S. It would be a millennial's dream for them to re-do those for the first time on console. But my opinion is I still think people would flock to a first gen game vs a new gen of pokemon.
If you make it the first gen pokemon you get the younger + older audience. If you are making new pokemon, I can only see you securing the younger since nintendo won't have nostalgia on their side.
Missed opportunity imo if they don't do a 3d first gen game.
I'm glad they are leaving it to the developers. I also find it interesting they don't disable third party devices such as xim4. If they are going to allow third party devices, why not enable native support so people don't need to shell out $150 for a device to keep up? Its a mess. But I do think it will all merge possibly.
