Incidentally, the "Full Experience" you speak of, is in my pants. Right now. No waiting.
Online gaming isn't free anymore if you have Vista. LOL
I've got the "Full Experience" in my pants. right now. no waiting.
This kind of story gets approved, but never mentions the fact that the 360 hasn't even sold 500k in Japan, and has been out for almost 2 years. Now that's news!
Apparently it's only news when the PS3 sales drop. LOL
ROTFL !!!
Ain't that the truth!!
Achievements are for nurds.
LOL. Wires are so 1983. Gooooo Xbawx!!!
LOL, I'm with you, if it is indeed the PS3 slowing things down. M$ and it's drones are pissed as hell!! LOL. It'll be that much better of a game with the extra dev time.
Xbox360 has SHIPPED 10million consoles, not SOLD. SHIPPED, which means a whole lot of them are still sitting there collecting dust, waiting for some poor soul to buy one and get the RROD.
You're right, none of us have a freaking clue as to the real reasons for the delay. For all we know, the PS3 is behind because they're having to spend extra time gimping it to run to 360 spec with all the extra compression and such so it fits into the DVD9 space.
One of my biggest fears of multiplatform games like GTA4 and others is how much the DVD9 format will blunt and hold back the PS3 experience. It seems multiplatform games are made to be identical regardless of platform. So I've got all this HD space STANDARD, and Blu-Ray STANDARD, that isn't being taken advantage of because somebody didn't plan more than 2 years into the future. I want the game to be next gen, not 75% of next gen because somebody rushed out their console to beat the competiti...
Sure, the 360 owners will buy the xbox720, or whatever MS will call it to sound more powerful and bigger than PS3/4. I mean, they keep buying 360's even after people from M$ have said that 100% of them have a defect, and will RROD sometime within 2-3 years. Most people are lemmings, doing whatever the press/media tell them is cool.
I'll bet the next 'Box will be released in 2010, to once again get a jump on Sony's next next gen machine. And that one will be rushed to market too...
I'm waiting for the Geometry Wars Edition Xbox.
If that doesn't come out then i'll wait for the Viva Piñata Edition Xbox.
More biased than all of the "Microsoft Beats Sony..." "Sony losing money..." "Xbox360 outsells..." stories on this fanboy lair of a site?
This one is actually news -Sony is looking far enough ahead in the future to secure the next big thing from R* -instead of paying retarded amounts of money to get ANOTHER SEQUEL from R*. I love GTA and will buy GTA4 the day it's released, but how many more of these can they do without rethinking the series e...
Halo 3? Overhyped
Mass Effect? might be good if you're into living a life in your TV instead of going outside to actually live.
Little Big Planet? If you can't see the ingenuity and utter creativity this game presents, then you're nothing but an xbot. This game will change gaming. Don't believe me? Come back in a year or two from now and see all the clones out there trying to cash in on LBP's success -especially M$ when they try to buy the sequel.
Denial is a beyotch ain't it?! The "not enough space on DVD9" stories are starting to come up more often now and all you can do is bring up old PS2 games. NICE! Perfect little xbots, distracting from the actual topic at hand by bashing the PSx any and every way you can.
How many discs is Blue Dragon on again?
This concerns the space limitations of HD-DVD compared to Blu-Ray. Even though M$ is convinced the future is HD downloads (and it will be in about 10 years or so when we all have fat pipes as standard equipment everywhere), it's nowhere doable for years on down the road -too many bandwidth limitations.
Uhh, you obviously haven't a clue to how much space HD video and Uncompressed Audio take up. An uncompressed AUDIO track is in the megabytes PER SECOND, when a Superbit DTS track on DVD (which sounds awesome btw) maxes out around 750kb per second. As for video, they'll get above 30mb per second.... Blu-Ray FTW.
To whomever is interested: The "Full Experience" everybody is speaking of, is, in fact, in my pants. Right now. No waiting.
