Who cares how many PS2's you went through -that's the past -this is now and M$'s quality SUCKS!
What's disturbing is how many people have had problems and just keep buying them thinking "this one will be okay". How many burn-boxes are you gonna buy before you realize M$ only wants you to keep buying more 360's so they can further prop their "sold" numbers -when half of those are probably broken and in landfills by now.

M$'s deeeep pockets will enable them to release the xbox 720 or whatever they think sounds cool and bigger than Sony, in probably another 4-5 years -maybe less. As soon as the PS3's momentum begins, M$ will dump the 360 and rush out the 720, which will probably have double the processors and triple the RAM, but still be PC-based, instead of pushing the envelope and truly being innovative.

One of the biggest diffferences between the two is the vehicle shadows: the 360's are all blurry and low-res, and the PS3's actually take the car shape, just blurred out a bit, like a real shadow would cast on the ground.

Little do they know that distributed processing (aka, the cell and it's architecture) is the future of computing. You'd be hard-pressed to find a new single processor computer these days. They're all going 2, 4, 8, and soon 16 processors and/or multi-core architectures. The sooner devs and all programmers get used to programming for this architecture, the better, for all of us.

Yeah, the 360 looks better if you like everything to look all bloomed out like you're on Mushrooms! I can't stand the over-bloom effect so prevalent on games these days -a little can be a nice touch, but the 360 version looks like they overcooked it way too much -like they're covering something up. And, I must be tripping because if reality is that contrasty, like every 360 screenshot, then i'm living in a dream world...
PS3 version looks way better IMO -way more natural, with ...

er, i mean, The Mart... Did you ever think that it's the maps and textures that take up most of the space and if those aren't all on the same disc, being single and multi or not, you won't be able to play any or all of the maps if they're spllit onto 2 discs?
