"Your front room/family room could look this amazing, if you just bought Kinect..."
Some mags (ie games TM) have given it just that:

Quantum Theory got 2/10. Ouch.
Can't wait for this - could be the best pursuit racer yet. Driver's got nothing on this!
This game looks better than Burnout Paradise and all the street-racing NFS games by a mile
Hah, yeah good point. Rage is a bit more colourful/sci-fi than Mad Max
No need to take offence. There's lots of terrible, terrible content on N4G. If we let them all get to us, I wouldn't be able to sleep, and would probably have died of a stress-induced heart attack by now.
Post-apocalyptic open world with vehicles FTW!
Well, they have green ray, as pictured
So you're saying it isn't finished six weeks before launch? Awesome!
I imagine anyone with retail copies can go back to the retailer - digi-copies, not a hope. Pretty disastrous really
Er, Steeaaaaammm
Not news. That site's been there since TGS last year....
Maybe that young-look Dante is some kind of red herring?
All those Spartans coming back from the frontlines with 'post-Reach stress'. Terrible. Oh wait, it's not real.
Except Metacritic only includes sources of it's choosing.
You realised that just then did you, after reading the site's 54th 'boobies' article of the day? Give me a break.
Ever heard of a joke article? It's actually pretty good fun if you take it in the spirit it's meant. Carmack could be tweeting the secret to untold wealth for all I know, but you've got to admit no-one uses twitter for the sort of tweets he's writing.
Typical N4G - everyone that's commented has missed the point and started banging on about programming. Well done!
"I always thought that game journalists had at least a basic understanding of programming languages (compilers) but when you can't even understand something as simple as this then you shouldn't review games as a profession."
Are you for real? That's the most pretentious load of crap I've heard on this site for some time. You think journos on IGN, Gamespot or any other site know anything about programming? WTF do you need to know about that stuff to ...
As long as the core racing experience is still exciting/fun all the other new features should slot into place nicely
