It's easy - they have two separate reviewers, with two separate brains. Therefore, you get two differing opinions. People are so hung up on differences between the versions it's untrue.

I'm slightly surprised by all those 9/10s. Pleasantly surprised, however. This just went from off my radar to near the top of my most-want list...
I would actually debate that they're the wrong way around - there's usually a fair amount of strategy to bosses, rather than out and out button mashing ... think you're reading too much into it!
