Glad they are in a place to make games again since AAA is abandoning steam in favor of their own platforms.
I’ll give it a shot but I got a bad feeling this game is just robot Destiny, and I think it will launch with a complete lack of content as well.

Definitely could. A lot of people wait a while into a new gen before picking up a console because of the high priced buy in. A smaller payment that offers them the new console, a game pass subscription, and the best online network available might be able to draw some of those people in. Costs less then the payment i make on my iPhone.
I dont know if PlayStation 4 can run them or not but on my Xbox when I was using a SSD it turned the normal like 2 minute bootup of GTA 5 into about 20 seconds. So load times, undoubtedly, if you consider that a performance increase.
It's hard to say. Truth is games are built on high end PC's which can push a lot better graphics then a console. Logic would say when they optimize the game to get a rock solid frame rate sometimes things have to be dialed back, and could easily explain why puddles that cast reflections may have been moved from the scene. I suppose that would be fair to call it a downgrade, but in the end I don't think it matters, no one is going to change their purchase of the game based on the p...
If by superior they mean a whole generation behind the competition...

I’m in the majority who would rather see normal game content. Go buy the original Battlefront if VR gimmickry is what you get off on. The total waste you speak of was buying technology in its infancy, expecting it to be mainstream and not a total niche.
I know when I am on Xbox, and for many months, when I run something Dolby Vision my TV says it is in Dolby Vision. When it is just HDR my TV says that as well so I don’t know exactly what the deal is. Maybe it has just been running in HDR but it knows Dolby Vision data is present as well so my TV says that, who knows?

They know the game is in trouble though they won’t publicly acknowledge it. Fun to watch them squirm as they have made poor decision after poor descision. I’m not sure what video game holds the record for biggest financial flop but I would guess this game is going to be a strong contender, I imagine the budget was high and the profits will be low.
Oh yeah, and stock prices will fall due to poor performance, investors won’t be happy, they’ll start reintroducing shady microstransaction practices to increase profits and the cycle will repeat.
Naw they are setting up for a Mass Effect situation. Not enough game sales are going to cancel DLC plans since they won’t be able to pay for it and premium won’t be funding it.
You couldn’t pay me to play Destiny but I don’t speak for everyone. The twin stick coop shooter on Xbox looks fun but PS+ definitely has the better offering. Looks like Microsoft put their stake in Games with Gold for September.
Easy victory, may even be the game of the XBO/PS4 era, I don't see anything dethroning it.

Halo: CE wins hands down. Anyone who has ever played the game would agree, whenever you hear “video game soundtrack” it’s the first thing that comes to mind.
