Fuck yeah! Xbox exclusives on the Windows Store! This is SUCH amazing news! Lol
I totally agree. 3 just fell a bit short. I like the story and everything, but something about the gameplay itself drug it down. I don't understand why all 3 Resistance games were so different. What was wrong with the formula the first game started?
Hopefully we see another Resistance game some time in the future.
Me too. Sadly that, and Ori, are the only games I really want for Xbox One. Maybe Crackdown 3 or Gears 4, assuming they will still be exclusives.
It's the opposition because Insomniac was CLEARLY PAID by M$ to make a game for their console. AND IT TANKED. Microsoft needs to stop throwing money around in the hopes of SOMETHING working for them, and just make a good product. Sunset Overdrive would have sold just fine on PS4, that's where Insomniac has been for 20 years.
Oh come on. People give it shit for having NO single player campaign. Now the game could POTENTIALLY suck BECAUSE of a single player campaign? The multiplayer only fanboys are ridiculous.
You forgot to add: "through the Windows 10 Store" ;)
It's Microsoft. I mean, they ARE THE PC company. I wouldn't be surprised if they essentially JUST make PC games from now on, and Xbox will just essentially be a cheaper option, for non-PC gamers. Like Steam Machines, for example (though some of them ain't exactly cheap :P)
I see what you mean about the potential...but it is just NOT THERE, if you've actually seen any gameplay. I don't know, there is just so much working AGAINST this game it seems. I really want to like it, but I'm going to wait for reviews.
But Quantum Break is only available on the Windows Store, right? That's not exactly the same thing as being a PC game, right? We're essentially talking about Microsoft's PC app store, right? This is just all so unnecessary and confusing.
It's funny, because this has been my stance on Xbox One the whole time. Now that they are going cross platform, I literally have even LESS reason to buy one. Makes sense to me. I don't see how everyone can be defending this decision so much.
Is Aaron Greenburg the official Xbox brown noser or what? It seems like his job is nothing but damage control, and insisting that everything is always going great.
It is good for Microsoft and gamers, yes. Just NOT the Xbox division.
Exactly. I am all over Diablo 3 finally. Definitely hasn't been that cheap for the Ultimate Edition yet.
This generation of gamers is worse than what conservatives think of Bernie Sanders. You all want free games! "I demand free Indies, remasters and emulated games! Blah blah blah, free stuff". They are in the business of making money. They're not going to decide what games are free, and which aren't, just because YOU think they should be. Who are you?
I actually loved the original Devil May Cry, but 2 was such a let down. 4 is probably the best of the original series, in hindsight. I don't know, I really like what they did with dmc. It wasn't quite old school Devil May Cry, but it was fun as hell and I loved the art style.
But most people are CONCERNED Xbox fans...
Wow. Such a douche of a condescending headline. Not even going to explain how completely justified some fan's worries are.
@gamenamefame
This is what people don't seem to get. This is good for PC gamers, yes. But Xbox One isn't doing all that well, as it is, this WILL result in less Xbox One games sold. It is that simple. I honestly can't think of any major Xbox One exclusives coming out this year now. Maybe ReCore? Is Halo Wars 2 coming out this year?
Of course it's good for Microsoft, they make money either way. But is it good for Xbox itself? Why would people choose the Xbox version, if they prefer gaming on PC? It almost seems like they're not really supporting Xbox. 2016 was supposed to be Xbox's year, and now the games are getting delayed and going multiplatform.
But I'm sure it can hit those numbers on Xbox One! Lol.
What is the point of this article anyway?
