This video doesn't seem the best quality. The first freeze frame is blurry as hell.
The Xbox One version looks washed out, or greyish to me. If the makes sense. Lighting all around seems more realistic on the PS4 version. Is the resolution the same in both versions?
Exactly, if Season Passes SUDDENLY quit being purchased, they'd give it up.
I don't mind things like DLC, but some developers definitely try to a milk a game for all it's worth...Like EA and Ubisoft :P
It actually sounds more to me like this guy doesn't admire the time and hard work developers put into making video games.
Steam is an online community created by Valve...essentially. You can play PC games without Steam.
A lot of Xbox games have been coming out lately with the same resolution and framrate as the PS4 version. Obviously they're getting a handle on it now. Not that 900 vs 1080 is THAT big of a deal anyway.
Though I DO agree it was an odd choice on Capcom's part, I also agree with the headline here. It seems to be the primary problem with gamers these days. They need SO MUCH SHIT tacked onto their games otherwise it's somehow "not worth full price". It is such a bizarre mentality to me. Not every game needs to be open world, with RPG elements, and season passes and yadda yadda yadda. I think it's awesome that developers can continue to ADD content to a game, even years afte...
Lol at the people defending Konami.
They've been in the shitter for years now, accept it.
Wow. People get defensive really quick. Sounds like he was just surprised it went Gold.
To be fair, rumors and clickbait headlines are all the rage in the gaming community. I feel like no game is safe from trolls who think they're critics.
Did you just praise EA for ripping people off?
It depends. I think they flat out say "hey, here's a bare bones game, with these features coming soon" that is very akin to ripping people off. Especially if you're adding, like, a $50 season pass.
I think it's another thing though entirely when DLC is released later, without overhyping or overselling, maybe as an after thought. Or if it's really cheap or free or essentially acts as a firmware update.
All in all: I don't mind it....
Equivalent? What?! Not even on the same page, man. How long has Spencer run Xbox? How long has Kojima been DEVELOPING games?
Oh. I get it, a child wrote this article.
How hard is it to write WITHOUT sounding ridiculously biased? You know that THAT is the sign of a professional, right? That's why kids don't write reviews.
Pretty much how I feel. There are a few games, but none I'm so excited about I need to buy an Xbox One yet. Just hope not ALL the exclusive get ported to PC.
And some of us are tired of Halo and Forza. Honestly, Ori appeals to me more than anything else Xbox One has to offer.
Actually it's in response to an article last week. One that said pretty much what you just said about Xbox One. So of course, some fanboy had to write an article pleading HIS case. Lol.
Yeah I'm going to buy another console just to play Halo and Forza. Of course, someone just HAD to write this article, after someone wrote the opposite the other day.
Except we know they rushed RotTR to PC because of poor Xbox sales.
Of course windowscentral says that. Microsoft is getting people's money either way. It COULD hurt the Xbox brand though. Not for certain, but this is just one of the multitude of hurtles that Xbox was has tried to overcome this generation. It's been a rough two years, but I hope they stick with it. Perhaps they too will unveil a new console before too long to try and stay ahead of the game. Worked for the 360
If you have a gaming PC, yes the Xbox One is almost pointless anymore. That aside, I wouldn't TELL people to stop playing their Xboxes. People have a right to game on what they want. The way I see it, you can get an Xbox One for about $300 now, but a high end gaming PC will cost you nearly a grand.
I, for one, don't even USE a PC anymore these days. My last one pooped out, and smart phones are so advanced anymore, I'm not entirely sure why I would ever get one aga...
No shit. Fighting games have been circling the drain for a while. That's one reason they are adding a ridiculous amount of content to Street Fighter V. I think the game will still do well enough though, based on preorder numbers and such.
Does anybody play Killer Instinct? :P
