I get confused when I see a topic that says Gears of War and it's not a racing game. I thought for sure this was a racing game. I'm confused. Where is the racing game article?
it would be nice to see the increase in graphics and play the boss Brumak. I was disappointed when I didn't get to fight him on the 360. He looks amazing.

But I must say I do find it amusing that he thinks MS or their exclusive developers cornered the screenshot option. That is a riot.
I downloaded the patch / update and played a couple games. Everything wored great and I still have my rank. I have the awards (medals and ribbons) but I don't have the points I need to be the rank I am. So I am likign that I didn't get demoted because those points are a bit high for the rankings.
Has anyone been demoted with this update?

for years already knew how incredible Epic is with their graphics and play mechanics engine. That is the single biggest reason I ran out and picked up a 360 MS w/Epic = Gears of War on my 1080p w/ 7.1.
Oh and I wasn't disappointed.
Epic is one of the very best at FPS/TPS.
I know I wont be disappointed with UT3 on the PS3 either.
It's awesome that it is getting such positive press and previews.

Anything less than a 9 is just an opinion to never be taken seriously. There are plenty of titles that have rated AAA that I would never play but I know they are AAA because of their quality (Oblivion, Final Fantasy, GTA, etc). Getting reviews under 9 / 90 I feel is a direct slap in the face of Insomniac when they have worked so hard and put so much into this amazing title.

NBA 2K8 on the PS3 and 360 the same rating even though it runs better on the PS3. That is just how things go and why people should stop caring about reviews and judge the games for yourself.
I miss the days of Asmiks wrestling engine. That was the most fun I ever had with a wrestling game. I played the demo Smackdown vs Raw and it's that same boring, robotic, methodical crap.
It's a shame Asmik has disappeared and no one picked up the copy rights to their gameplay engine.

IMO they just admitted the review was garbage but anyone that actually played the game already knew this.
I stopped going to Gamespot after reading the review and thought to myself I am taking this a tad bit too serious. After reading them defending it? I will never go back. Their explaination of the review is worse than the review itself.
