They have a lot to prove... The Forza Horizon series is great, but its a work in progress with the motorsport team (they both share assets). Now it's all on them, they're entering uncharted territories and I hope they can pull it off. I don't think it's a slam dunk like many enthusiasts think it will be. They don't really have anyone on the Xbox team they can use for guidance and that's where I think their downfall can happen.

I appreciate that Microsoft is trying to turn it all around, but I'm not understanding this appetite to crown them before achieving anything. We won't see the fruits of that labor for another 3 to 5 years, but people need to crown them now.

I doubt much of the destruction is done in the cloud... There's more destruction in a Battlefield game and it has 60 player maps... Microsoft are the masters at making something common look innovative.... I'm just surprised they didn't show us more. It's like they're hiding something. The game is coming out in 3 months (meaning it should go gold in 2 months)

It's fairly simple... Two birds one stone. Make the show in a tropical climate & vacation on your down time. Didn't you notice how tan Mat Booty looked?

Steam is fine for now. I'm not sure how Microsoft has anything to gain, since if Ubisoft & company decides to dump steam for their personal store, Microsoft will have nothing to do with it... They're not going to dump a site that takes a cut of their game for another one when they can rake in all the profits themselves.

The media was starting to crank up the heat on Microsoft right before E3 of this year, but like you said they announced new studios, they showed a bunch of 3rd party games (this weird woman came on stage and told everyone that they were spying on their gamers habits to better know its customers ,that weirdly went unnoticed), talked about xbox always being the most powerful and people bought it and moved on to the real problem....Fortnite Cross play...

Sounds about right. This plus that EA investors conference from last year when they said their was 105 million consoles (sony had released that they had sold 76 million a week before this) so people did the math and basically pointed out that Microsoft had sold around 30 million consoles as of December 2017. So if they ordered 37 million this generation (obviously they're bulking up for holiday shipments) they're probably around 34 million sold now....

From all the reports we've had this year on 3rd party sells, (Ubisoft, Capcom, ea) 70% of their console sells are on playstation... I'm just taking those numbers to formulate a calculated guess...Plus the fact that the red dead ps4 pro bundle is basically sold out at a bunch of retailers helps prove my theory.
I'm not hear claiming it's the better looking version, I'm just saying if trends continue Playstation will have a bulk of the sales.
