I don't understand this obsession with trying to figure out how to make Microsoft survive the gaming industry... Let them fail! If it's not meant to be, so be it. They're not adding anything besides being a meaningless distraction. All we see is "4k this, Phil that, cloud this etc" nothing like "this moved me, or this is cutting edge, or they're pushing the industry forward"

If it's on the Xbox ecosystem, it's an exclusive... Knowing that, if Microsoft made better games, Forza wouldn't even be part of anyone's conversation. Look at Sony, they make great games and we don't hear them (or their enthusiasts) talk up MLB The Show every chance they get.

What's the point of all these Microsoft "make a wish" articles? Is the gaming industry in need of a saviour? The industry is the healthiest its ever been without Microsoft help, but the media is like "Those beautiful people at Microsoft will save us and make gaming fun again"...
I'm merely talking about the controller... Console refresh have been around before xbox was even a thing.
As for the history of xbox one controllers, there was the original xbox one controller, then they refreshed it, and then the one s came out with another refreshed controller and then the Elite came out... All I read is that the Xbox controller is the best no questions asked, but keeps having to get refreshed since they didn't get it right the first time...
For a controller people claim is the best, it always seems like it needs to improve... We've had what 3 controller refresh (if we count the elite) in one generation?

I would say for vice city & San Andreas the cheetah was best overall car (Infernus was fast, but to wild and didn't handle well)
GTA V I would have to pick the Comet (that car is fast and handles like a charm)
They had to launch Gamepass with a "worthwhile" game... They needed it for Gamepass and at the same time they used Gamepass as a crutch to justify its lackluster content "its only 10$ and there's a free trial, so Sea of Thieves isn't as bad anymore"

Soo ps4 sold 6 million in 5 years (1.2 millions per year average) and Nintendo switch has reached 1.4 millions in 1.75 years, so Nintendo should reach 4.2 million after 5 years.... Not bad at all.

We don't know the intricacies of this deal, so both our speculations are just that "speculations"... You have to admit that before the game awards you felt differently about this deal then you do now? There's many ways Microsoft won't see a dime from this game. Obsidian might still get its cut (the owners & staff pre being bought by Microsoft) because this game was obviously in production long before Microsoft showed interest and they already had a publisher backing ...
Playstation now has been around since the Ps3... How does Microsoft have a head start when their services isn't even available yet? You can play PS Now on your Microsoft surface pro as we speak...
