It's gonna be about the same amount of people who bought the 360 at $300 who are waiting for the 360 60gb.
360 is $100 cheaper and it only outsold PS3 by 7,000 units. Last week was the price drop and that was the small spike it did in sales. Next week the sales for the 360 will come down a bit and the PS3 might still outsell it next week. Im going to say the PS3 will outsell the 360 this month.
Well coming from the PS2 anybody would be a loser. As far as PS3 goes it will not be the loser of this generation. The 360 will lose the most money and sell the least this generation. As for Sony they are the biggest loser because from 120 million PS2s and the large margin of victory it's just not going to happen again this generation. Not even the Wii or the DS will dominate like the PS2.
It's probably equilvalent to the arena modes in Sigma or in God of War because notice how they said missions instead of chapters.
Actually im gonna push my forcast to spring of 09 when PS3 install base will be more than 360's. It was due to MGS4 selling more systems than I expected. Enjoy your lead for the next few months. Or will you be too embarassed to show up on N4G when your system is in 3rd place.
Finally this is what sony needed to do for the PSP.
When 2008 is done it will be a better year for games than 2007. The list is gonna change and somethings maybe pushed forward for Sony and we know nothing about Nintendo.
At GDC they didn't really annouce anything new. They are for sure saving some big things for E3.
SixTwoTwo is probably correct. As far as I can see the 40GB has what it takes to be a perfect low end model. It also already has the 65nm chips. It's the 80gb that might need to be changing cause that's the 90nm still.

Once again Micrsoft is behind the curve. Blu-ray would be a last-gen gimped format to last through next generation. Didn't they lean anything this generation?
I didn't say it. Gamepro said "Resistance 2 is better than Halo 3 and bigger than COD4".
But what can I say beggers can't be choosers and I guess UT3 is your only quality FPS for this year. Please don't say Left 4 Dead, Fuels of War, and Battlefield BC because those don't count and UT3 is better than those anyway.
Gamepro got to try out Resistance 2 early and when they got to see UT3 for the 360 the just had to rate it this low because it fails in comparision to Resistance 2.
There was a stat a few months ago where onl around 3% own more than one next gen system and 1% or 2% own all 3. Now based on this article where they said the sales boost came from a big chunk of 360 owners that tells me MGS4 is a system seller to the hardcore gamers.
Now I have theory on how multple console owners buy there system. Most people just want enough games just to give them a fix. So the people will tend to buy the cheapest system and if that don't work they will b...
I'm relieved that there are no trophies coming for DMC4 because I don't have to play through this unfinished game. From the middle of the game you backtrack all the way to wear you started that's rediculous. Capcom, why don't you finish making your games first?
The game isn't even coming out for another year. And I read somewhere it could be $40-50 million in the end. And this is not a bad list of games that Killzone 2 is in right now. All those games have like a metacritic score of a 9 or above. So Killzone 2 is gonna be a great game.
Microsoft gaming studios must have a different definition of what it means to win. They will be in 3rd place in Europe no matter what they do. Sony Computers Europe is making a lot of games that will appeal to Europeans like little big planet, Home, and Killzone 2. And Gran Turismo 5 is a huge seller in Europe. What AAA game does MGS have in Europe?
Wow notice how all the 360 owners have all suddenly inreased a level in the desperation deparment. It could be because they're paying for a similiar online service that can be had for free on the PS3, the lack of games, 360 sales slowing down, and lastly all the negative news about 360.

GTA was a timed exclusive last generation.
DMC4 was a ruined game cause it had to devevelop for both systems and so the game didn't sell systems on either system except in Japan for the PS3.
Assasins was only annouced for the PS3 to begin with it was never an exclusive.
FFXIII is timed exclusive for PS3 and full exclusive on in Japan so only the PS3 will benefit the system seller aspect of FFXIII.
