YES THEY DESERVED TO DIE, AND I HOPE THEY BURN IN HELL!!
Yeah but then MS is likely to drop the 360 in 09 to bring out whatever they're making in 2010 or so. I know I'm going to get disagrees but it's not like they haven't done it before so why should I expect any different this time?
Man this makes me more and more psyched to see what they have in store for Resistance 2. 48-64 player Human vs Chimera warfare? Who knows but I can't wait to see, I just hope they add some classes and let players control some of the Chimeran units from the campaign and vary the Human players accordingly. Some dudes running around as Grey Jacks would be freaking awesome.
From reading those details it's a good thing it was canned when it was. Then again it doesn't really sound like something that's unfixable, probably needed someone to step up to decide the important things and kill off that "too many chefs in the kitchen" stigma the development cycle seems to have had. I wouldn't have been too happy with the customization or lack thereof though.
That's the first Killzone dude.
Hah if we went with lessons learned like you suggest we most certainly wouldn't buy a 360. You saw how MS dropped the original Xbox to bring the 360, how do we know they won't do it again? Sony has proved 3 times already that while having slow starts, their systems will pick up and dominate. The only one that hasn't relatively dominated in the past PER SE is the PSP. But it still has a very large amount of units in circulation and an awesome library with features galore. Against Nintendo's ha...
I believe it's 48 hours.
Maybe so but Bioshock, Mass Effect, and Halo 3 weren't out in the 360's first year. I was still waiting for games back then but I eventually got them.
Edit:
You're right, after checking metacritic and gamerankings the 360 did have more overall 90+ ranked exclusives than the PS3 within respective system's first year. Gears of War, GRAW is also listed but that was multiplat. I'll give you that one anyway since the camera was different on the 360 version. I'm not a ...
Farenheit/Indigo Prophecy was the best adventure game I've played in years. The control scheme was actually pretty awesome and helped a lot with the gameplay. As much as I love that game I couldn't help but get the feeling that Quantic Dream was rushed halfway through development, if you've completed it you'll know what I mean. I'm hoping the same doesn't happen to Heavy Rain as this will be a 0day purchase for me.
I'm also hoping Quantic Dream can revisit their ideas for Omikr...
LMAO this is quite funny considering the source, dare I say ironic? But seriously that charactaristic applies to all gamers not just PS3 owners. What since one quality game comes out we don't want more? Personally I'm waiting on about 10 games from next year off the top of my head. We want quality games on every platform and console unfortunately that doesn't happen . I want as many awesome games as my shrinking freetime allows and I'm sure every other gamer agrees with me.
Hah I boycott bad games period, aside from Skate and Rock Band (which isn't out yet) can you tell me any other EA game that I should own on PS3 from this year? Mind you I have Fight Night and NBA Street on 360 and I don't wish to purchase either again. Those flukes aside I don't even like sports games. In any case boycott Epic, it's not hurting my pockets but it is kind of pissing on the people who helped 360 owners out more than any other game dev just because a game that was once not even g...
I'M SO CONFUSED!! I know, I'll just BUY the game and see for myself.
I'm saying this because I was in the Make Something Unreal mod competition for UT2k4 on the PC. The grand prize was an engine license AND you got the UE3 upgrade in the deal. I'm saying this because they were talking about UT2006-7-UT3 even back then before Gears was even announced to be anything more than a tech demo.
Hell they were even going to come out with one every year which would be subsequently named as such in the same vein EA does Madden to sort of play up the "spor...
Um but shops at at K-Mart anyway aside from this which I'm even tempted to go on an expedition to find one so I can get the game early. That shows you right there, like 3 Super Walmarts, a Super Target, a Mall, Best Buy, Circuit City, Sam's Club, Toys R Us, and an Office Depot all within a 10 mile radius of me. Where's the K-Mart? like 30-40 miles away. and it's like half lit and desolate inside.
This is one of the saddest things I've ever seen, no wonder mass media treats hardcore gamers as shut in freaks with no sex lives. Don't perpetuate the stereotype!!
Welp Peg was right all along, I didn't have high hopes for this anyway we already have CoH/CoV.
Seriously man:
Gears of War is a third-person "over-the-shoulder" shooter. In an interview with Cliff Bleszinski, lead developer for Epic Games, he cites three games that were the primary influences in the game's design including the third person perspective from Resident Evil 4 and the tactical-cover system from kill.switch.
And that's an excerpt from the wiki for Gears,
Lmfao that is one dirty mother effer, man did he throw it around in the desert or something? I'm scared of the rest of his house.
That doesn't mean a damn thing to me, the original Xbox was more powerful than the PS2. As George Santayana said "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." point made.
