Yes jay, because everyone knows updates are the work of evil and should never be done on a system because no one EVER wants new and updated features. If I recall correctly, didn't the 360 just get divx playback in a *gasp* update? More importantly that system WAS rushed out the door, attempt at trolling failed.
Hoping it's better than FFVII, because while I do have the original, Advent Children, and purchasing Crisis Core; I found the core storyline to be quite bleh. I happen to enjoy the world crafted from it though.
Excellent matches indeed man. See that's my greatest fear of SFIV, I'm hoping that sort of high level play remains intact. You can't just get that out of dial-a-combos and while I'm disheartened they removed parrying, I really want to see what the saving and save cancelling is all about. Hopefully the gameplay is very much intact aesthetics aside.
I fully agree, that store was something I hope Sony takes a lesson from and gives the guy credit or a job. The XMB is already built to accomodate such a store and it'd be a superior and seamless way to get what you want. If they're not going to do it like that at least take away the web app, it's kind of slow and very cumbersome. At least it's well organized so you can find what you want without any trouble.

Only thing I wished they added in this update that SHOULD have been there is sequential video playback. I hate having a tv series on my hard drive and have to scroll down to the next episode and hit play. I usually leave it on in the background while I work or something so if it stops, it gets annoying after a while. Afterall this feature is on the PSP. Overall I'm psyched about this update, can't wait to see what they add next.

That guy's a jackass, he states that Sony needs a radical short term plan but he doesn't offer any suggestions as to what that is. I generally abhor western/euro fantasy with the most burning of passions but this game captured my interest, at least for about 3 hours until I started playing something else. I'll go back to it though, the combat system is pretty sweet. It's beaten the hell out of Oblivion for me so far.
It worked too, the only difference now is that DVD discs are cheaper still and less of a hassle than VHS tapes were back when they were being phased out by DVD players. Haven't had a VCR in like 6 years but I have like 6 dvd players. I've just begun to pick up BR discs in the past week when they were competitively priced with DVDs, 10-20 bucks is the sweet spot. Hope I can get some kung fu movie compilations on one BR disc *drools*.
Hah Bioshock's getting DLC, but you're right on the rest. Unless they go the episodic route (please don't) Uncharted doesn't need any form of DLC. ND knew this already which was the reason for all of the trophy points in the game with the unlockables. There's nothing to add to it that isn't already on the disc waiting to be unlocked. Oh yeah I FINALLY saw the Uncharted commercial on TV for the first time, now I want to playg. ..and I think I just might.
